Breathtaking views of the Mogollon rim from all decks and windows of this 2900 sq. ft. mountain home which was designed for comfort, family fun, or entertaining guests--all will surprise and delight you! With 800 sq. ft. of decks, 4 bedrooms, plenty of living space, and a two car garage: your stay will be a special get-a-way. Located 200 feet above the East Verde River valley in secluded Whispering Pines community, you are still 12 miles from the center of Payson or Pine. so you enjoy peace and contentment, yet know that the amenities are not too far away.

The great room is marvelous for spreading out in front of the amazing (hand picked) stone fireplace. Views from the near floor-to-ceiling windows almost hypnotize you. A/C if needed.

Spaciousness extends to the master suite, open loft, topping the house with its own bath, dressing room and balcony/deck on the upper two levels. It is more than the master suite as we have added a bunkbed.

Mid levels include two more large bed rooms, one king, one queen, a bath, complete kitchen, dining area and the great room furnished to lend itself to enjoying satellite HDTV, reading, games, and conversation areas.

The lower levels include one bedroom, queen size and a bunk bed, another bath, and an amazing oversized game room with a wood burning stove, ping pong table, piano, TVm, games, music, puzzles--even a queen wall bed and pull out bed for extra sleepers.

The kitchen/dining area is complete with microwave, dishwasher, disposal, cookware, dishes, utensils, blender, mixer, coffee pot, toaster, etc. Also stocked with flour, sugar, salt, pepper, spices, .--Big table with leaves in hall closet. Good for family or holiday feast. Adjoining patio has table, chairs & BBQ s for picnic style dining.

There are electric heaters under each bathroom vanity in the bed rooms living room and game room. However, the preferred heating method is to sit in front of the fireplace or wood stove with a cup of hot chocolate.

Towels and extra linens are found in hall closet. Iron is in laundry room (lower level, W/D, soap)

We had a great time with family. The layout of the house made it seem larger than it was. Had a cool basement/game room. It actually had 3 full bathrooms. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Space for families
Great, quirky cabin, perfect location, amazing views. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Basement is a great place for kids to hang out while the adults are upstairs. Highly recommend!

Great place to get away!
We loved staying here. There were some plumbing issues on the 1st and 3rd floor so we mainly only used the 2nd floor shower. Not ADA compliant and many small stairways so be careful if you are bringing elderly with walking issues.

My family loved this getaway to this cabin to see snow! The property had what we needed, pots pans, coffee maker, extra blankets, towels, grill, firewood, even sleds for the kids. The owner was awesome, communicating was easy when there was service. We will be back next year!

We had a small hiccup upon arrival which was promptly and adequately resolved with the owner. We have stayed in the area previously but this place is by far our new favorite! We will definitely be back for sure! Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Family Reunion Fun
Spent the weekend with my family in this lovely place while attending a family reunion in Payson. Plenty of room to relax, the basement was great for the kids and the views are spectacular and breathtaking. It's close enough to town for a trip to the grocery store, but far enough out to feel you were in the forest. We lacked for nothing and will be back.

Family Holiday Getaway
As grandparents our gift to our kids and grandkids was a trip to AZ snow country. The house was plenty big enough and we played lot of game inside and played in the snow outside. We had a wonderful time. The only suggestion to the owners is to have the cleaning service dust the hanging light fixtures. Thank you.

Weekend Stay
Great location. Secluded and quiet. Clean and everything needed was made available. Just two things to note. Little to no cell phone signal, but there is a landline phone for emergencies and necessary phone calls. We didn't need the phone at all during our stay. The other is that there are a lot of stairs. We didn't have issues, but if had older guests stay, then it might be little more difficult for them. Overall, great place. Great communication with the owner. Would definitely come back again.

The perfect house for a big family and making memories!
We had such a wonderful time at Conrad’s home! There was plenty of space for everyone, it was clean and cozy. The view from the decks are just breath taking. The Sunrise lighting up the Mogollon Rim was stunning. We had everything we needed to cook meals, play games and stay up bonding and laughing. This was our first time staying here and I feel like we scored big time with this home. Conrad was prompt in his communications and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Thank you!!!

Great Arizona Mountain Getaway!
Our extended family of 8 stayed here for 3 nights. The views were wonderful, the location couldn't be beat, and generally the home was very adequate for us. The house could use a good cleaning, most of the blankets had holes in them, the table cover was full of holes, the furniture was tired, and the stairs were very dangerous. On a positive note, there were plenty of towels and pillows, the beds were ok, the kitchen was nice, and the toys in the basement were fun. Very good directions…you will need them!
