Charming French Escape - Dordogne & Lot

"Las Vignotes de Lea" is a charming home with spectacular views and a private pool. We're located in the idyllic countryside of Payrac in the Lot - South-West France.

With a private pool set on 1.5 acres this is the perfect hub for visiting some of the country’s prettiest villages.

Rocamadour, the second most visited attraction in France after Mont-Saint-Michel, is just a short drive away. We're also very close to the famous villages of La Roque-Gageac, Saint-Cirque Lapopie, Beynac, Autoire, Domme & Sarlat.

Nearby you can discover ancient chateaux, Romanesque abbeys and prehistoric caves. In fact Gouffre de Padirac, the most famous cave in Europe, and one of the most interesting geological sites in France, is just 38km away.

Or why not savour local delicacies including truffle, duck and foie gras, and visit the local wineries famed for Malbec in nearby Cahors. The Lot River and nearby Dordogne River are also perfect for picnics, swimming and boat trips, and there are plenty of walking/biking trails.

The house features a master bedroom with breathtaking views and plenty of storage. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a double mattress at the bottom so accommodating 3 persons if needed.

The brand new kitchen is equipped with microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, oven and a complete set of kitchenware and dinnerware.

The living room has a woodburning stove, perfect for the cosy nights in and we've provided board games and playing cards so you can enjoy quality time together. The couch also converts into a double bed sleeping another two people.

The bathroom has a walk-in power shower and there is a separate toilet. If you're travelling with a baby we can also provide a baby bath, high chair and cot - just let us know what you need.

Our house has plenty of outdoor space to chill out with a pool, outdoor dining table, BBQ and sun chairs. It's extremely private and peaceful.
