"The property is situated in a peninsula in Kalutara on a road with almost no traffic, a pleasant surprise in such a busy (and wonderful) city. The beach is lovely, but not swimmable because of strong currents. The room was large and bright. The washroom was clean, and the shower was awesome. "We loved staying at Mihin villa with Mahinda and his family. We were initially booked for 2 nights but extended our stay to 4. Really comfortable room, big bathroom with hot water. The WiFi worked well and there was a fridge in the room which was an added bonus. Fantastic traditional breakfast cooked by Mahinda's wife which we ate in the lovely garden. "The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable with an amazing pool and gardens. We stayed here for 5 nights and were very well looked after by the manager of the property and the ladies who were there to cook meals if needed. The food cooked for us was the best that we had during our two week stay in Sri Lanka! Communications with the owners while booking our stay were so easy and pleasant. We would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing stay in this part of the country."
