"A wonderful property and lovely hosts. Elizabeth and Jean-Christian went out of their way to welcome us. A great selection of maps and tourist information on hand for your days out. The village itself (a very short walk) is tranquil with basic amenities - Bakery, farm shop, bar, restaurant and pharmacy. The house is cosy and very well equipped for your stay. We would heartily recommend to other families. We expect we will visit again!"

"A beautiful property with a big outdoor space. A 20-30min drive will get you to plenty of lovely walks and sites- rivers, monasteries, beaches, animal parks. There’s a farm opposite which our children enjoyed watching the tractors come and go and the cows in the fields. Supermarket is a 10min drive. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and equipment. The housekeeper meet us on arrival and at departure and there was speedy communication when we had a power cut. A lovely stay enjoyed by all"

We loved the parking and private access via the bridge running over the river Vienne passing by the side of the property. Well placed for visiting the coast - Veulle Les Roses a lovely village and well worth a visit. Just over 2 hours from Calais so useful to break a journey."
