"Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "

"Our stay was a fantastic experience. The home is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The garden is large enough for energetic kids to run around. The hosts, Maryse and Alain, are attentive, kind and generous but also discreet. They spoiled us with wine as well as incredibly delicious tomatoes, figs and peaches from their garden. We can only highly recommend this place."

"Nous nous sommes retrouvés pour un we familial . La maison est grande et très fonctionnelle. Bon équipement de cuisine. 2 terrasses permettant de bien profiter de l’extérieur et du joli jardin bien entretenu ! La plage est à deux pas ! Bonne communication avec Olivier le propriétaire. En résumé , maison agréable pour passer un we entre amis ou en famille. En revanche , il faut peut être faire le point sur prêt de vélos (on a oublié d’en parler et on n’a pas pu en profiter)…"

Haus, Terrasse, Pool und der Garten mit Außenküche waren perfekt für uns, genauso wie die Lage im schönen Örtchen Hourtin mit der Nähe zum See und zum Meer. Vielen Dank an Steve und Laurence für die unkomplizierte und sehr angenehme Kommunikation! "The property could be amazing and is in the best location but it was very dirty on arrival and one of the toilets did not flush. I would say in its present state, it is not fit for rental. The beds had plastic protectors which were very sweaty! The bathrooms are quite disgusting and one of the showers was actually just a trickle. Despite this the location is fab and it is very quiet. We enjoyed our stay which was helped by the weather and fact it was a family get together. The service fee should...
