This night's stay at Hotel Whiskey was not a good experience. The walls are very thin. I could hear conversations in the hall (loud talking around 1 am - approx 2:30 am... female cursing at a male, horseplaying, flip flopping back and forth up and down the hallway). I could hear neighboring room(s) conversation some times faintly, some times clearly, well after midnight, doors opening and slamming closed well after midnight, footsteps as people walked the hall. I could hear the elevator shaft going up and down and elevator bell ring everytime it opened. I was not afforded a restful night's sleep.
The room smelled of smoke, like the pantry/closet appliance survived and was taken from a house or business fire, but the smoke smell remains. Although the shower/bathtub was clean, it creaked with simple showering movement.
Additionally, what is below was emailed to Expedia and info@whiskeyproperties.com shortly after my arrival without reply or follow up.
Kind Greetings,
Please note that my accommodations does not include the Furnished balcony or patio noted when I selected and reserved the City Room. Please advise on an appropriate remedy.
In addition to my previous email, please note that I have noticed when the pantry cabinet/closet door is opened, there is a burnt smell (not the smell of cigarettes but the after smell of burned paper). I am pointing this out for your review.
