"The owners are very nice and helpful. The room was clean and cute, as it is on the pictures from the booking. Very nice location in Vela Luka, lots of restaurants near by. It has a fridge on the common area that everyone can use, this was very nice touch. There is a parking close by. Side note, better to have a small car, the streets are very narrow."

"The garden, pool and views to the sea were superb. The villa had a well equipped kitchen which was easy to prepare food. The inside of the villa was smaller than I expected but everything was comfortable and clean. The main drawback which I was not aware of on booking was that there was no internal staircase connecting the upstairs and downstairs of the property, which was not ideal for us as my mother who is 86 struggled to walk up the quite steep access path to the upstairs and car parking space. Overall, we had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our stay."

"The location of the accommodation is amazing. The bay is like a big pool and the sunbeds work out perfectly. The town is very close for evening meals, or you can eat at the restaurant on site, or self cater in the accommodations kitchen."

"The property owner was more than helpful. I honestly don’t think our trip would have been as enjoyable without the owners suggestions. Property was very accommodating for a family. The view was breathtaking and the city was charming. We attended the church next door, market is also next door. There is plenty of wine for the wine lovers. Beautiful beaches are never more than 20 minutes drive. Loved everything about our stay. Will be going again."

"We loved this property and it was such a great location near downtown Vela Luka. It was ideal for our large family of 9 adults. There is a lot to do on the Island of Korcula and we rented two cars for two days for under 200 Euro total from Atlas Rentals near the ferry stop. We visited Korcula, with gorgeous water views and visited two wineries. We hit two beaches on separate days. Swimming in late May was a little cool, but still doable. The house had two roof top terraces and an interior courtyard open to the air above along with a huge family room. We had plenty of sleeping space or two couples and 5 single adult children. Bernard (owner) and Vjeko (local host) were awesome and had the best communication of any host on VRBO. Vjeko arranged bus transportation for all 9 of us to our final Croatian stop in Dubrovnik on the morning of our departure for 320 Euro, which I thought was a good deal given 9 travelers with luggage. We really enjoyed this home and can recommend it highly. Bill C."

"Our visit here was amazing! I was hesitant at first because the location of the hotel is more towards the middle of the island, but I’m so glad we did this because it ended up being our favorite part of our two week trip to Croatia! It was a nice break from the chaos of the touristy towns. We worked with the hotel for a transfer from the Korcula ferry port to the hotel. It was supposed to be 25 euros per person each way, but the taxi driver overcharged us and I wasn’t very happy about it. But it all worked out because the manager kindly gave us a free ride into town on our way out. They also upgraded us to a bigger room for free which was quite nice of them. The receptionist was amazing! Helped us with a few requests, including arranging a shuttle to the nearby town of Smokvica for wine tasting. It was quiet and quant hotel. We loved it so much we even thought about trying to stay a few more days, but unfortunately had other things booked in Dubrovnik. I will say the full board that comes with the room is just okay. We thought about venturing out one night to a nearby restaurant but decided to skip dinner altogether. I would recommend going out to dinner, if possible. Other than that, it is the perfect place if you want to relax by the sea, read your book, and soak up the sun! Side note: if you’re taking the ferry out of Korcula, highly recommend booking in advance as they sell out fast!"
