"Stunning property, such a huge garden, the pictures don’t do it justice! So much space, the pool and hot tub are fab and it was great to have a few BBQs and make use of the pizza oven. The cottage is beautiful and quaint and stays nice and cool in the heat. Beautiful rural area and close to amenities and not far from Chinon. Would highly recommend!"

"We had a short stay as a family here during a trip to the area. It is a lovely, peaceful property and well laid out. We had a great check in experience with the friendly concierge who explained everything to us. We also briefly met the owner who was helpful and friendly. The house is in a very nice setting and we enjoyed having the swimming pool for a nice relax in the afternoon after a day of exploring! We found the space and amenities of the house more than enough for five adults."

"A lovely holiday. The gite has a beautiful garden to sit in and is equipped to a very good standard.A warm welcome from René and Nicole on our arrival. We came to see the Châteaux of the Loire and there were many located very close to the gite. We didn't realise from the description that the bathroom was on a different floor to the bedrooms. This wasn't a problem for us, but could have been for others."

"This is a lovely old house with many original features which has been restored and modernised without losing any of its charm or character. The owner lives next door and is very welcoming and helpful but unobtrusive. We found the house spacious, well equipped, comfortable and very nice and warm during a chilly week in early April. Outside there are lots of different sheltered and shady seating areas and the garden is fantastic for easter egg hunts! Surrounded by quiet roads and flat rolling...

"Our stay at Bois Mort exceeded all expectations and Maison Maurice was the perfect place for a much-needed lazy holiday, surrounded by farmland and wildflower meadows. We loved the charming little house equipped with everything we needed, with two private terraces and easy access to the amazing new pool. "Amazing value for money and location. Really well equipped apartments, spacious balcony and comfy beds. Kitchen didn't have any spare space for storing shopping to make the most of the self catering aspect, but we worked around it. Our apartment overlooked the car park but in fact, it was really quiet, not overlooked by other guests and our balcony had a grear view of the fortress."

"More than most properties - Gille’s sprawling 16th, 17th and other centuries place will mould to your wishes. No heated pool for us and the games room remained quiet. But a wonderful maze with parking for only the Le Mans champs ( like myself). Everything is close and walkable."

"Beau parc de loisir très calme et bien intégré dans une forêt de pins. Les cottages sont confortables, ils disposent de tout ce qu’il faut, sauf la clim. Comme tous les CenterParc, c’est un paradis pour les enfants. Le nom du parc n’est pas usurpé, des daims en liberté parcourent les espaces entre les cottages en broutant. Craintifs, ils ne se laissent pas approcher à moins de trois mètres. Les cottages sont des cubes accolés les uns aux autres, et ne sont pas très beaux. Ils sont trop visibles...
