5/5 Excellent
The house and garden themselves are a sweet rest.
"We actually came to this house BY MISTAKE. We had thought we were making a booking far away, and only discovered that we were going here the night before. (Our mistake.)
It was a delight - and a relief - therefore to find that the place was really lovely.
The lake is nice, a few miles away, and you could spend days there, but apart from that there’s not a great deal nearby. However, the house itself is lovely – the garden is lovely, and the host, Maelissa, was sweet, welcoming and helpful.
The garden is big and there are three bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The central area is a nice family area with kitchen, dining table and sofas. There’s a barbecue outside and we ate many meals outside at the large table.
Perhaps the highlight for me was THE HAMMOCK. I could - and did - spend hours in it with my book.
We made some family videos which we put on Instagram made at the house. Look at @SomeVirgos if interested. "
