The poolarea is particularly nice and the teenagers spent all day there :-) Nearby you’ll find Lucca, winetasting, hiking and many other activities. Highly recommendable."

"Had a wonderful 6 night stay at this lovely, spacious house with plenty of space for our group of 11. The house has amazing gardens with beautiful views and is in a lovely quiet location. We didn't want to drive and used the bus service from the village to go to Lucca, around a 15 mins journey. The host, Fiona, is fantastic and easy to communicate with. She is very helpful and even arranged for someone to come into the villa to cook a meal for the birthday celebration which was just lovely. All...

"The road up is narrow and a little challenging but so worth the breathtaking views !!! The pool overlooking the hills and the manicured landscaping were top notch! We were close enough to a small town to enjoy the local restaurants good food, groceries and other towns to do day trips as well. The Villa had everything to make our Stay very comfortable. The little cottage allowed us two couples separate sleeping and bathroom privacy."

"Very traditional Tuscan property, lovely neighbourhood, next door neighbour nice,friendly and helpful coffee shop. Home restaurant lovely and a great experience, roads are a bit windy and narrow in places, car is essential to visit Places. Church bells take a bit of getting used to."

"Ideal lovely location on a mt hillside with a beautiful sea view and mountain ranges behind us. Charming couple that own the house. Daniele was very helpful getting our dog the correct health certificate papers since we were visiting Italy for 3 months. He went over and above helping us...and we are very grateful. The house is as described-safe area and close to Lucca and Viareggio Beach and town...a fabulous area to visit!!! Perfect location and base to see all the sights in Tuscany and go on...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful 15th Century Villa in Northern Tuscany. The outdoor pool was well used in the daytime and the open fire was lovely to sit around and chat in the evenings. The Villa was well furnished, with areas to congregate as a large group of 13 (in the dining room and around the pool on loungers) as well as plenty of alternative spaces including 2 balconies and seating areas indoors for smaller groupings and/or a bit of quiet time. "This villa has beautiful views accross the valley. Weather was warm but changeable so the undercover eating area was very relaxing. Lots of room and well equipped. Pool lovely. Car recommended as location very hilly. 10 mins walk downhill to a lovely restaurant (ristorante rina). Water pressure could drop making showers challenging. Very nice housekeeper, Beatrice."

"This was our first trip to this region and it exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were traveling with our three grown children and this house was roomy and comfortable and very clean. The interior was a great mix of modern with a traditional flair. The setting was absolutely beautiful with the views of the valley and the pool and the olive trees.
