"This place is hard to rate as it really depends on what you are looking for. Location is 10/10. We loved our stay here. Our goal was to be upon the mountains to do that and this place was perfect. we did several hikes directly from our front door. The views are spectacular, and you are well out of the hustle bustle of the city. There are not a lot of restraunts and you will need to get food and the small stores in ubrique. "This stay was our favourite in over a month of travelling Spain and Portugal. It is so unique! The castle is stunning and the vistas are incredible. The rooms are large and quiet and the restaurant was so delicious and extremely fairly priced. We had 3 starters, 2 mains a bottle of wine and two glasses of sherry for under 75€. Cannot recommend the is stay enough!"

"Gorgeous Spanish style villa, beautifully decorated, very spacious, with a fabulous outdoor dining area and a terrace where you can enjoy the most breath-taking views of the countryside, Gibraltar and Morocco - they are truly stunning. Read the description closely

"This place was very relaxing and we enjoyed sitting in the backyard and by the pool looking at the mountains and watching the sunset. The listing is accurate, but I was surprised when we got there. There is no wifi. There is a tv but because there is no wifi you can’t watch much. There is an AC but it is only in the main room - however all the bedrooms have fans. You cannot drink the water and will need to buy bottled water. I wish we had known that before we arrived because we would have brought some with us. One set of sheets and towels were provided for each guest but there were no extra sheets or towels in the house. When we asked them to bring blankets they brought them over right away (but there were none in the house when we arrived and it was chilly the first night). The swimming pool is very nice but there were no extra towels. I am sure he would have brought some over if we had asked. But it’s nice to arrive and have these things without asking (we got in late after traveling all day and it was night time). FYI There is no bidet. "
