"I stayed at casa Julia with my elderly mother. The apartment was perfect for our needs, clean, well equipped and very close to the main high street but not at all noisy. "Best thing about the villa is it is just off the main path along the coast so no roads to cross to get to the sea front. You can see the sea and view across to Fuertaventura from the villa which is stunning. From the coastal path you can walk to Playa Flamgingo, onto City Beach all the way to Marina Rubicón if you can manage it! The villa itself is spacious, clean and light. Great for a family. Lovely pool and nice bedrooms. "

"Great property well sized for our needs with a lovely outside seating area next to the kitchen to sit and eat at. Check in and out worked seamlessly and we had no issues during our stay. The location of the villa on the VRBO website lead us to believe it was closer to the beach then it actually was which was a bit of a disappointment. "

"Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at the house. The property was an easy walk to and from the beach. The view from the bedroom balcony of the sea was lovely. We made good use of the bbq most evenings. The house was spacious and had comfortable seating in the lounge. The listing is not completely correct. The TV is not 50 inch but 42 inch. The DVD player was not able to be connected as the TV did not have the correct fitting. A second dvd player did not work at all. You are not able to park...

The pool was perfect for what we needed and the pool table was also a great addition. "The property was good, but Callete De Fuste is a one-horse town that even the horse died of boredom in, the only things to do are to eat and drink, and I am a celiac who can not eat out or drink, which is why I always book a self-catering property. I am almost 68 and do not have enough eyesight to drive and You can walk round the entire town in fifteen minutes flat, and the rest of the place is a dust-bowel with only dirt tracks to walk on, you could not pay me a million pounds a day to ever go...

"So much better than what I expected. Everything you need for a self catering holiday. Pool area was cleaned daily. Cheap food and drink at the pool bar. Entertainment most afternoons. For the money I paid it was more than perfect."

Hotel Riu Oliva Beach Resort - All Inclusive

"I loved this place. Amazing location, just wow!. It is a big hotel with between 1-2,000 guests so feeding those numbers "All Inclusive" can't be an easy task. However, the food was just fabulous, and The Mandarin and The Canarian cuisine was just superb. This place exceeded my expectations and the vibe was excellent. The hotel is a little tired (built in 1972), but I loved it, the location, beach and catering were just excellent. "

"Great hotel with friendly staff. Lovely clean complex overlooking the beach. Pool was saltwater and a bit cool so didn’t spend too much time in it. Staff were amazing and really helpful. Ideal location for the resort. "

"First time we had stayed at this property. We were recommended by friends who had stayed previously. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, 2 adults 1 child and there was more than enough room. The apartments were clean and tidy. There was plenty of activities for children to get involved in throughout the day. The Flamingo Beach is right on the doorstep with a supermarket and restaurants 2 mins walk. It's a 25 minute taxi ride from the airport and 10-15 min walk to Playa Dorada Beach via the coastline with lots of bars restaurants to choose from. Great week and would definitely recommend. "
