3 Bedroom, 2 Full bathroom Pet friendly cottage.

This beautiful resort cottage is designer decorated, with coastal charm and lots of white airy furniture. You will find all the amenities needed to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. With two bedrooms and one bathroom on the main floor, a separate bedroom with on suite bathroom in the loft area, and a queen sofa bed in the living room, this cottage comfortably sleeps eight. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare meals and dine in comfort while the open concept floor plan makes it easy to visit with friends and family.

Come back from the beach and have dinner on the patio, enjoy a family game night or cozy up for a movie on the reclining armchairs, sit by the gas fireplace with a good book, and enjoy the beauty of your West Coast surroundings – Mermaid Cottage will be the perfect vacation spot for the whole family.

You are welcome to bring your up to 2 dogs with manager approval only.

The cottage community is along popular Resort Drive in Parksville BC and offers a heated indoor pool with hot tub and an overlooking gym area. Also located in the complex is a mini golf course with bumper cars and laser tag, a small bistro/coffee house, a day spa and hair salon. This is a great location within walking distance to Rathtrevor provincial park and its huge sandy beach, restaurants, great spas, old growth forests, nice hiking and bike trails.

We really enjoyed our stay, very well stocked kitchen. Beds were comfy and clean. Location was great right next to the beach and golf. Couldn't recommend a better stay. We are already looking forward to our return.

We found the Mermaid Cottage to be about as close to perfect as it gets. Clean, comfortable rooms. We didn’t do any cooking, but everything we might have needed was available. And loved the location! Perfect spot!

Overall Mermaid Cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much.The outside decking area was a bit shady but when it's really hot that could be a bonus.

Close proximity to the ocean, hot tub and pool on premises (pool could have been warmer but wasn't a deal breaker for the kids) each room setup with TV and all streaming options. Good wifi and a nespresso! Wonderful place, good price. Would stay again

lovely clean and convenient
This is our 4th year staying at this resort and this cottage was definitely one of the cleanest and well decorated. Loved the fenced backyard as well. All the amenities were great. Just need to remember to bring our own cooking oil in the future.

We loved the cottage and all of the furnishings. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of dishes, glasses etc. The barbecue worked great the outdoor area was good as well! The kids loved the pool. Also the mini golf, bumper cars, and ice cream parlour. Arcade was fun too!

I was very pleased with the location to amenities, the cleanliness, it was fully stocked with all you need. Also, the Quiet and Peacefulness, Being surrounded by Nature and the Friendliness of Everyone. Great location. We were there during a heat wave so we truly would have loved air conditioning, but did appreciate the fans in every bedroom. The pool was nice as the water was on the cooler side so felt very refreshing. The cottage accommodated our family very nicely and we had a wonderful time.

Wonderful Family Holiday
We had a fantastic time at this rental cabin! It was the perfect layout and setup for our family of 4 with two young kids. We love this resort, the location and amenities. The pros: -the interior of the cabin was very clean and check-in was smooth and easy -the cabin was well stocked with supplies -floorplan was great -close to pool The cons: - The back deck area could use some love (railing, more landscaping, and cleaning - we had to wash it down and sweep upon arrival) - TV in the living room needs updating, it's a very old unit with a DVD player built in (DVD player didn't work for us though) - King bed is rock hard, not ideal for us Overall, we had a wonderful time and would happily stay again! Thank you!
