Great family friendly summer rental
Our stay was excellent. Cabin was very clean, quiet and well stocked kitchen for those that like to cook. Kids really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, and proximity to mini golf and Rathtrevor beach. Host super friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to others!

Spring!!
We love to experience spring early and then return home for spring again. The accommodation allowed us to stay cozy with cooler spring weather than we have experienced in the past. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment that allowed us to prepare our meals ourselves. Our dog loved the accommodation as she could see out the screen door to watch the goings on and it was a great location for her walks.

A restful getaway!
A great place to go for a relaxing getaway with lots of options to keep occupied if you’re looking for things to do. We appreciated the fact that the cottage was so well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Highly recommend!

Great Location in Parksville
Our family (4 adults and 2 kids) really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The location is perfect being very close to Rathtrevor Beach Park as well as other Parksville beaches and amenities. The on-site pool was a great hit as was the mini golf Riptide Lagoon located on the same block. The unit is exactly as pictured and was a nice fit for our family during our 10 day stay.

Everything was wonderful about this rental. We love Parksville and it was a real bonus to have this property to come home to after hiking or biking. It truly felt like our home. Great hot tub as well to soothe the muscles. We hope to return again. Thanks.

Family Getaway
I have stayed at this resort many times and this was probably the best unit and location for our young family. It’s located on a dead-end street, has a fully fenced deck and a very short walk to the pool. The backyard/deck backs onto another property so not the most private but wasn’t an issue for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and the toilet paper and paper towel were great quality (it’s all the little things that make a place stand out 🙂). We can’t wait to come back!

Delightful cottage!
Our family of five (plus dog!) stayed 9 nights in this delightful cottage near beautiful Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park! The cottage was perfect for our needs, providing ample space for our family to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation. The beach is a bit of a stroll from the cottage - so bring your bikes and ride to/from like we did! The Oceanside Village Resort community is very family-friendly with great amenities including the indoor pool/hot tub and Riptide Lagoon mini-golf and bumper cars next door. Suzy, the cottage’s owner, was super responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful stay!

Nice 3 Bedroom Cottage in Parksville, Vancouver Island
We spent a couple of months in Parksville this fall in this great little cottage on Resort Drive. Great accommodations and excellent property manager (Suzy). The cottage is roomy, has a great gas fireplace, two bedrooms one bath on the main plus one more bedroom with ensuite in the loft. The area is quiet and peaceful, close to amenities, restaurants, beaches and the park. Great walking trails nearby. We absolutely loved it and would recommend the location and the accommodations. We did ran into a couple of minor issues with a plugged drain and a leaky sink, contacted Suzy. She promptly arranged a plumber and the repairs were done without delay. Absolutely perfect!

Very impressed cottage! Everything was as shown in the pictures. The kitchen was fully equipped and made us feel right at home. Our kids especially loved the loft and the indoor pool. We were so thankful to have air conditioning which cooled the place down for good sleep. The bottle of wine and the many beach towels were thoughtful touches! Great communications with the owner - always prompt and smooth. Will book again without hesitation!

Exactly as promised Welcoming place
From the moment we walked in it was perfect. Very welcoming feeling. The right amount of chairs for 6 people inside or out. So nice to have a proper table as we like to play board games. Location is excellent and only 5 min to beach. Parking is great for 2 vehicles. Left us a nice bottle of wine. So much to do here great holiday. Will definitely come again. They rescheduled us due to travel restrictions and gave us a discount since we had to change to more expensive summer dates. Wonderful place.

Great Getaway
Very clean, well stocked, and just as advertised. Easy access to Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanoose Bay and everything else in the area. The beach at Rathtrevor is about a 15 minute walk away. The only suggestion for improvement might be a fan for the upstairs loft bedroom. The downstairs area never got that hot and even late in the day when it did get a little warm, the AC cooked it down quickly. But that cool air never made it upstairs and it was harder to sleep up there because of that. Thanks.
