"The room was very clean, and plenty of towels and washcloths were provided. It had a real key instead of a key card, and it took me a little bit to figure out how to open the door because it had a locking doorknob and a dead-bolt using the same key. I kept locking one while unlocking the other, and I couldn't tell which one I was locking. Make sure to go to Nancy's for some pie to stuff in your pie-hole. LOL I didn't have pie. I had strawberry sheet cake with ice cream on the side. The only thing I found a bit frustrating is the mattress kept shifting several inches off the box spring. It really needed something to hold it in place. Oh, and the TV wouldn't work right, kept saying "no signal" but it really wasn't an issue for me because I had my laptop with me and the wifi had a strong signal with plenty of speed. So I just watched movies on my laptap. The clerk said she'd come down and re-program the TV, but I told her no need, I was fine with my laptop. I stayed four nights while I was in Tahlequah for a conference. It was quiet for the most part, except plenty of police sirens at all hours. Which I thought was a lot for a small town, but I live in a town with a population of 500, so I don't get out much. "

"Great cabin that’s full of the little details that make it awesome! Kitchen is nicely stocked with equipment to cook/bake/grill whatever you want. Had small bags of cereal, muffin mix and smores kit on the bar. Plenty of blankets of all sizes to keep people cozy. Lighting is not in short supply & neither were linens in bathrooms or by the hot tub. There’s 2 other cabins located close by but they don’t feel squeezed together. Outside fire pits with couples swings around them & stacked firewood nearby proved useful. Pond is a short walk down the hill with several path options. Fishing poles with a few lures on the back porch if you didn’t bring any gear. This location is 7 minutes to Vian or 10mins to Gore. Both towns have a few lil shops and 3-5 restaurants for meal options. Harps grocery store in both towns have great selection with decent prices. Tenkiller Dam is less than 20min drive as well as the spillway area for solid trout fishing. The road the cabins are on is gravel and a dead end so traffic is minimal. The only complaints, and they’re minor, we had was there were horseshoes but no stakes for a game. The other is we had brought card games and dominoes but didn’t really have a good spot to sit around and play. The beds are on the firm side so be aware of that. Overall, clean & great cabin that we would stay at again! Booked it for 6 but only had 4 of us able to attend. Could house/sleep 10 without issue. "

"Two night stay to visit grandson at NSU. Room was super clean. Bed was wonderfully comfortable with lots of pillows to prop up for TV or reading. Bathroom clean and well stocked. Staff was super accommodating with directions, etc. Will stay again."
