Perfect location and spacious condo
This condo was perfect for us. Our teens had their own bathroom and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. You walk out of the second floor right onto the slopes at the orange bubble heated chair lift. The building also had a shuttle for going to town for dinner or shopping. The base is very walkable from the condo. We ski the Rockies every year and this is one of the best set up condos we have stayed in.

Ski In, Ski Out -- So Best!
Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property. You absolutely cannot beat the location for any trip you're planning on taking to ski at the Canyons -- the lift is literally a 30 second walk from the Grand Summit. My kids (10 and 7) loved the pool, and my wife and I spent plenty of time in the hot tub. The room was very spacious, and having a kitchen area was absolutely clutch. Would love to return someday!

Don't hesitate!
This was one of our overall best experiences staying at the base of Canyons & Park City mountains. The location and lift access are unbeatable!! The hotel staff were incredibly nice. Room service & restaurant food were both better than average. The room was clean & comfortable for our family of 4 with two 5'8" teen boys. Plenty of spots to store suitcases, etc. Our boys slept on the twin window beds. They were a bit on the firm side, and the bedding provided by the hotel wasn't ideal, but they were fine overall. Amenities were all quality. Fireplaces and TV worked well. Laundry is at the opposite end of hall past the lobby, but the machines are in good shape, and you can pay with cash or card ($2.50 per cycle I think). Room key required to get in. We will definitely check here first for our next ski trip!

Great condo!
We so enjoyed our trip! The condo was immaculate with very comfortable accommodations. We appreciated the ease of getting around the resort, the great service, and all the amenities the condo provided. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. My only need while we were there was a pizza cutter, so all in all, a FIVE star review! Will stay again!

Great time at the Grand Summit!
Cozy condo, terrific for ski in/out, yummy room service, enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs. Owner was very responsive. Be sure to request bedding for sofa bed in advance if you are arriving late in the evening. Beyond that minor tip, we enjoyed our stay and will be back again! Thank you!

All the benefits of a condo, with the amenities of a hotel
My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids ages 12 & 15) enjoyed a great long weekend of skiing and relaxation at this property. It doesn't get much more ski in/ski out than Grand Summit! You are directly on the slopes, in the heart of Canyons Village. The space is technically 2 individual rooms that are adjoined which offered a great amount of space & privacy for everyone in the group (Room 1: K bed, bathroom, balcony, fireplace & coffee maker. Room 2: drop zone, kitchen, eat-in dining area, bathroom, living area with 2 oversized window benches that serve as beds). The property itself appeared to be fully renovated at the time of our stay - all construction to the pool area & reception has been completed. There were minor updates being made to the outdoor spaces, which should be finished well in advance of the spring/summer season. Grand Summit has 2 in-house restaurants (higher end), a grab & go snack/coffee bar that opens daily at 6am and offers room service as well. Another benefit of this "condo within a hotel" concept is that there is on-site childcare available. The unit was clean and stocked kitchen essentials, including dishwasher detergent & soap. There are ample laundry facilities at the very end of the hall, where they provide detergent and fabric softener sheets free of charge. (There is a change machine in the laundry room, but the machines are set up to take credit cards too.) The GS staff were friendly and incredibly responsive! While this unit doesn't include daily housekeeping service, you can add it on to your stay on-site for an additional fee. Thankfully, there are no issues with handling trash or obtaining additional housekeeping items. Each time we called for an extra pillow or blanket, they were brought to our room within just a few minutes. You put trash & recycling cans out in the hallway and housekeeping will empty them for you. You really just can't beat the location, convenience & amenities offered at this spot! ***To note: guests are responsible directly to Grand Summit for a "mandatory departure cleaning", in addition to any host fees you may pay through this VRBO booking. At the time of our stay, the GS cleaning fee did not match the amount posted here. We have since learned that the resort fee has increased from the amount that is currently posted as well. Future guests may want to confirm directly with the host or Grand Summit these costs prior to booking so that they may budget accordingly.

Perfect ski in/out condo for family with teens
To get this out of the way - I'm PICKY with my ski condos. I don't want to haul a bunch of gear all over the place. I spend a lot of time researching properties, and this one did not disappoint! Location - 40ish minutes from the airport; there is complimentary valet parking, but we are control freaks so we parked in the convenient underground garage. From the garage, you take the elevators to the first floor and the condo is VERY close to the elevators. To ski, you walk out the door with your boots and poles and walk a few feet to the elevator, which you take to the second floor. This is the longest part of your journey as you do the bouncy boot walk down a long hallway. It's not that long, but just so you know what to expect. At the end of the hall is the ski valet. Grab your skis and walk out the door, down a few steps and into the snow. You're standing smack in front of the Orange Bubble lift, which is heated and has an orange bubble top (duh) to keep you out of the wind. There is a gondola a very short walk to your left (remember - I don't like to haul gear so if I think it's short, you'll be fine). Another fun thing right outside that main building door - to your right is the gondola down to the Waldorf! There's a cool restaurant in the building with outdoor seating overlooking the Orange Bubble area; this is a great spot for apres ski. The condo - I mentioned I'm picky; I also don't like to spend a ton of money. I thought this condo was a FABULOUS VALUE. Here's why - you're paying for a one bedroom but it's a BIG condo. I have two teenage boys, ages 15 and 17. My 17-year-old is 6'2". Each boy slept on those twin mattresses by the windows in the den. They loved it. They each had their own space, and the mattresses were comfortable. I would recommend bringing fitted twin sheets because the sheets provided were all flat and so just kind of a pain to make their beds. We didn't even use the pull-out couch, but a family of five could easily fit in this condo. Here's the best part for families - the kids had their own bathroom and their own closet and dresser just outside their bathroom. We had two other families come over for lunch (b/c it was so convenient!) and we had plenty of room to accommodate them also, as the table is big and there's a lot of seating. Condo was well stocked. There are large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. You won't run out. I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent property and amenities
This property is really 5 star quality! There was a heated pool, 3 hot tubs, 5-star robes in the room. The room is really spacious and accommodated 4 adults and 1 child easily. The window beds are a true twin size, and the queen couch had a nice pad, so everyone slept well. You do need to ask for extra bedding for the queen sofa bed and window beds, but they brought them up quickly. The ski valet was very much appreciated and there were a variety of waters/gatorades/cold brews complimentary when we arrived. The hotel was quick to get us checked in, and I had zero issues with the check in process after I received the confirmation code from Jay. Overall amazing place and I would definitely stay again
