"We really enjoyed our week at Camp Pinecone. The location is ideal for enjoying the Adirondacks - Tupper Lake, Saranac lake, and Lake Placid are all fairly close. Fish Creek Pond offers a quiet setting with access to other remote Ponds via Canoe or Kayak as well as Upper Saranac Lake (via the narrow channel) with a larger boat. Upper Saranac Lake was truly enjoyable - warm water and lots of it, with a very remote feeling. The cottage is also close to some very nice (yet challenging) hikes of...

"The location is great in that it is roughly 2 minute walk to the lake. Tupper and Saranac are roughly 20 minutes away. Paul Smith’s VIC had great trails for walking. Plenty of canoe rental places near by too. This is a quaint 100 year old cabin. All the materials are wood and stone, and quality. But being 100 years old the utilities (plumbing and electric) are not the same that you would find in a newer place. Everything works and is nice, just wanted to mention the age."
