This is a small one bedroom apartment just a few steps from the heart of the legendary Rue Cler pedestrian street made famous by its fresh food shops and Bistros. Here you are midway between the Invalides Museum (where Napoleon I is buried), the Quai Branly Museum for indigenous art and the Champs de Mars park with the Eiffel Tower. This is a high value residential district that is home to many diplomats, French government administrators, and academics from the nearby American University. It has easy access to transportation with the Ecole Militaire metro station and bus lines 69, 80, 28, and 920
The apartment which is on the first level ( second american ) of a XIX century building consists of a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer and a table for 2, a bedroom with a hotel quality queen size ( 160cm*200cm or 65*80 inches ) bed, closet, tv and desk and a small bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. kitchen and bedroom opens with 2 windows on a quiet and large courtyard planted with trees therefore is away from street noise. you can sleep with windows open. both windows close with wooden shutters.

The apartment comes with free WI-Fi and free cable TV .

The all-inclusive rental fee covers quality linens and towels.

The location is very convenient to tour Paris. It is a walking distance (less than or around five minutes) to eiffel tower, museum du quai branly, invalides, rodin museum) . It is a lovely walk (less than 30 minutes) or a short direct metro ride (less than 5 minutes) to the tuileries garden , louvre, champs elysees.

Please be aware of the contractual 40 euro for any check in before 1200pm and after 900pm. If the apartment is not rented the night before the 40 euro applies in all cases. If the apartment is rented the night before we do not charge the early check in, we can check you in starting 1000am, keep your luggage but ask you to leave the apartment until the cleaning is finished i.e., around 1200pm.

Paris getaway
Compact apartment in fabulous area. Olivier met us on arrival to show us where and how everything worked. Yes, the bathroom is small, but it serves the purpose and we never had a problem. The only concern was the noise from upstairs, especially in the middle of the night. Maybe a chat with the neighbour would have helped?.

The location is amazing. Rue Cler is great for grabbing food to go or sitting down and watching people walk by. Easy access to Metro Station and short walk to Eiffel Tower. Place is very small, but that’s all we needed.

The Hidden Gem
Location was awesome, steps to Rue Cler, minutes walk to Eiffel Tower! Comfortable bedroom, hot water galore, beautiful Juliet balconies to let the birds’ songs float in! Lovely loaded kitchen with tons of space! Gorgeous courtyard entrance. All was lovely and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you!

GREAT LOCATION
For anyone who loves food the proximately to rue Cler is a bonus. The only downside to this apartment was a very unpleasant smell every time you entered. I did mention this to the owner by text. Hopefully this will be remedied for future guests. I also suggested that a small toaster oven would be a good idea as there is no oven to reheat food that does not reheat well in a microwave.

My wife and I stayed at the apartment the first week in April to run the marathon. We couldn't have asked for more. Starting from the meet & greet with Olivier, the very handy Rue Cler and very close proximity to major sightseeing such as the Eiffeltower, Hôtel des Invalides, Musée d'Orsay, the river Seine, etc. The location for us was perfect and the apartment was very clean at our arrival and it has a comfortable bed. Advertisement was altogether not a reality. Very difficult to shower or to use the toilet. It takes three days to warm up enoug to shower. Upon arrival the washing machine was full of wet bed sheets. Add showed seeing the Eiffel tower etc... that was entirely impossible. Entrance was unlit from an alley way...not comforting at night. Also added things to be do before leaving , so as not to incurr additional costs, was not before hand mentioned.. Also said to be at ground level, and was not. My wife and I are both handicapped. Nuff said.

Don’t stay here.
A very disappointing experience. Although the unit is in a great area (Rue Cler). The bath towels & kitchen towels were disgusting & need to be replaced! Bed linens had holes in them, pillows were atrocious. TV was difficult to use. Called to see if host could ‘walk us thru’ the process to get it working. He said it was not a good time, was too busy to help! Offered to FaceTime us later to walk us through the process but never followed through. No working fire alarm in unit. Host claims it’s too much trouble if it goes off! Wouldn’t recommend this property.

Great Location, nice apartment
We stayed 4 nights in Olivier's flat. Communications with him were great before, during and after our stay. He met us at the flat as scheduled after a quick show of the flat we were off to explore Paris. The location is perfect with the Rue Cler market just outside your doorstep and the Eiffel Tower a 10 minute walk away. I would go down to the market each morning a pick up fresh fruit and warm from the oven croissant's for breakfast. By far the best croissants I have ever had were from Boulangerie Genest's on the corner of Rue Cler and Rue du Champ de Mars. The subway station and bus stop are around the corner making is easy to get to the sights of Paris. There are a couple of grocery stores nearby and lots of bars and restaurants in the area full of locals having a good time. We had a great meal at Le Bosquet and sat on the patio at le cafe du marche a couple of times, sipping wine and watching the world go by. The flat is small , cozy and clean. The kitchen and bedroom are actually a pretty good size by European standards, The bathroom/shower may be a challenge for a larger person. I'm 6ft, 220 lbs and showers in the morning were interesting(don't drop the soap) but perfectly do-able. Everything in the flat worked great. The washing machine was good to have after travelling Europe for a couple of weeks. Olivier was a pleasure to deal with. The 150 Euro security deposit was refunded promptly, 1 day after we left. We had a fantastic time in Paris!!

Apartment was ok, but difficult owner
We started our stay in Paris with the owner not giving us a time for check in saying he needed to work out some things. as time went on past noon, we continued to try to get a meeting time, but received nothing. Ultimately we had to check out of our hotel and informed the owner we were heading his way. Still no confirmation from him on being there to meet us. The trip across Paris on the metro took a while and he started to call us repeatedly while on the metro When we arrived he was very unpleasant to deal with. We took the apartment keys and started to unpack. As noted in the description the apartment is small. If you have two suitcases you will need to leave one in the kitchen, because there simply is not enough room in the bedroom for two. After checkout the owner notified me he was charging 50 euros for a broken toilet seat cover. I informed him we could not have broken it as it was not able to be used. It could not be lowered because it interfered with the tile wall due to its placement next to the wall. Needless to say , we did not enjoy this rental.

Perfect for an exploratory trip
We loved staying here. We felt a little bit like locals because of the apartment’s location in a residential building and regularly seeing neighbors. This is not a luxury hotel and is neither decorated nor presented as such. It is a place to stay. The important parts were taken care of, and that’s what mattered the most to us. The bed was exactly what we were hoping for after a long flight, the shower water was hot, there was a fridge, stove, and a washer/dryer combo, an ironing board and iron, and fresh towels. The location was perfect. It was removed from the touristy areas without being too far away, and it was a 3 minute walk from one of the nicest open market streets. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, souvenir shops, clothing and shoe stores and basically whatever else a traveler might need. It was awesome and we will miss it. Thank you to the host for being so great!

Great location. Has all you need.
This apartment is in a great location close to Rue Cler where you have easy access to food, restaurants and convenience stores. Clean and tidy. It even has a washing machine/dryer. Easy walk to the Eiffel Tower, and I walked everywhere! Only one flight of stairs, which was important as I had knee surgery 6 months ago. Good communication with manager and easy to deal with. Bathroom was a bit small but it’s perfect for a week’s stay.

Perfect location
This was a great property for our stay. My teenage daughter and I shared the bed. Small unit, but big enough for the two of us. You can’t beat the location. Proximity to Rue Cler and Ecole Militaire metro stop is perfect. Having a kitchen allowed us to have snacks, breakfast in the flat and a glass of wine at night for mom. Was also nice to pack clean clothes for the return home instead of dirty laundry. I would highly recommend this property and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Good but a few tweaks could improve it
Pros: great location, comfortable bed (very soft) quiet and safe. Cons: super small bathroom and shower. Be prepared for this. Lovely artwork shown in pictures was missing (was that photoshopped in?). No washcloths and towels were dingy (we found some new ones in a drawer). Could use a new dish sponge for each tenant since dishes need handwashing. It’s a very small place but the location is great. Near metro and great restaurants. We recommend La Terasse and Le Petit Cler. Good value as far as a place to stay near the Eiffel Tower and great neighborhood.

Great location!
200 ft to Rue Cler. Typical Parisienne size apartment. The sole “weakness” is that the shower was so small, I couldn’t NOT get touched by the shower curtain while trying to bathe.
