Perfect stay in Paris
This is our third stay in Paris and was by far the best location of our stays Communication with the owner was prompt and informative. The apartment was comfortable, well stocked and made us feel like we local parisians! Location was residential with great restaurants a local grocery store and access to the metro via two metro stops in easy walking distance. The apartment is on the first floor with nice wide staircase and an elevator if needed. If you are looking for an apartment to explore Paris from this definitely is the one!

Perfect Place to Stay
I highly recommend Elisabeth’s apartment in Le Marais as a place to stay when visiting Paris. Not only is the location perfect for getting around the city (multiple close Metro stations) but the apt itself is fantastic. We were promptly met by the guardian and able to get early access which was greatly appreciated. The building is quiet and inviting and provides a great respite after a long day of exploring the city. We will definitely recommend to others and, when we return, would definitely stay there again!!

An excellent break
The apartment is a very comfortable and clean place to stay.Elisabeth is a very helpful and friendly host. The apartment's location is excellent for walking around the Marais area. There are plenty of museums, interesting walks, cafes, restaurants and a wide range of shops. We walked everywhere!

Beautiful apartment in fantastic location
We were greeted by our host Elisabeth who was just so wonderfully helpful. The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. Elisabeth recommended a lovely restaurant just around the corner - i was the best meal we had in Paris. Plenty of shopping and metro stations. Highly recommend and thank you Elisabeth.

Quirky Flat in The Marais
This flat was in an excellent location near two metro stops and in The Marais — a very cool neighborhood full of cafes and unique shopping. The apartment itself was comfortably furnished and had great water pressure. Love a good shower to start the day! Our host, Élisabeth was warm and communicative. Overall a great stay. Merci beaucoup!

A Perfect Home in the Marais
A comfortable, unique and well-equipped suite in a historical building, a central location in the Marais, and a hospitable and knowledgable hostess - what could be better? This VRBO was a perfect home for our 6-day stay in Paris. Place des Vosges, the Bastille area, the Picasso Museum, and good restaurants are a short walk away, as are two Metro stops on different lines for more distant explorations. Magnificent Marais
This was a great apartment! Location was wonderful! Elisabeth greeted us and we enjoyed talking with her and learning about the apartment and some of its history. She also made great suggestions for restaurants and sights we had not been to before. The apartment was well equipped with full size appliances and wonderful touches that made us feel at home.We hope to be back and stay here again .

The apartment was in a great location - the Marais is a lovely area to explore and it was easy to access the rest of Paris on foot or by metro. The apartment was well furnished and check in arrangements were easy to make with Elisabeth. It would have been nice to have a map/some information about local supermarkets, bakeries etc but overall a lovely stay.

Beautiful apartment in perfect location.
The apartment is very clean, gardienne is lovely & communication easy. I travelled with my teenage grandson. The apartment had convenient & comfortable sofa bed in the living room & extra toilet in the hallway that allowed privacy. Visitors should know there are a couple of steps & a sunken bathtub if accessibility is an issue. Lovely & Highly recommended!

I can highly recommend the apartment of Elisabeth. The location and surroundings are fantastic. The apartment is spacious, was very clean and well equipped. An earlier check-in was possible without any problems. The reception was very nice. (Thank you for the champagne ...). We felt very comfortable and would book the apartment again at any time.

Ideal location, cheerful apartment
The apartment was as previously reviewed: very pleasant, decently equipped and clean. The Marais location is quite busy but handy to so much. There are a number of museums - some free - within a very short walk. I confess to finding the steps, particularly within the main bathroom, an irritation, but knew about these beforehand and they didn’t detract significantly from my opinion of the stay. Overall an excellent choice for a couple wanting to be near the action. Communication with Elizabeth the owner is exemplary.

Surprise Trip to Paris
I took my husband on a surprise one week trip to Paris. Everything was wonderful about the apartment. Super clean. Exactly as advertised and a perfect location in Le Marais. Tons of shops and restaurants and a five minute walk to the Metro. Our flight home was going to possibly be delayed or cancelled (thankfully it wasn’t) and our host Elisabeth was incredibly thoughtful and responsive to our situation. She went way beyond in trying to figure out a solution. Fabulous!!

The best location in Paris!
We had the best month in Paris one could ever expect, and mostly because of the home we made in the Marais district. Elizabeth was so very warm and welcoming....She even called and spoke with our taxi driver to direct him to the best place to drop us off due to the general strike on May 1st which had temporarily closed off our street! Our clean and charming place was so convenient to everything...bakeries, grocery, shopping and restaurants. The Marais district is clean and safe and so inviting. We adored the Place des Vosges park and the restaurants surrounding. We utilized the subways greatly because we had two stations within a block or two. When we return to Paris we will base our stay on her availability!

Short but pleasant stay
Arrived to a beautiful courtyard prior to being shown the apartment. Easy to get up to 1st floor via staircase and small lift. Apartment was very clean and with high ceilings felt spacious. Having 1.5 bathrooms was marvellous! Kitchen well equipped with everything we needed for breakfast and any meals you might want to enjoy at home. There is a Picard within walking distance where all the prep work for meals is done. I ended up on the pull out sofa which wasn’t that comfortable so instead slept on the sofa. Location is great with many options to pick up supplies and meals. The baguettes at La Moullin Rosa were fantastic!

Wonderful stay
This was an great find. The apartment was very comfortable (the extra 1/2 bath really makes a difference), and all the arrangements were handled with ease. Elisabeth is very straightforward and nice to deal with. Great location. We were delighted with our short stay and would definitely return. Only advice: someone who is not good with stairs should probably avoid. It's only on the 2nd floor and there is an elevator, but there are four steps in the main bath that might be a problem for someone who is not stable on stairs. (we didn't mind at all)
