Located rue de l'Agent Bailly (which is named after Charles Gaston Bailly in the heart of the 9th arrondissement, this studio is close to Montmartre and the Opera district. You will enjoy the animation department stores, Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. Rue de la Paix and Place Vendôme, you will dream before the windows of the greatest jewelers.
The traditional shops found in the nearby Rue des Martyrs (5 minutes walk) bakeries, chocolate shops, delicatessens, butchers, caterers, cheese makers, wine merchants, fruits and vegetables; cafes and restaurants typically Parisian or trendiest overlooking the Sacred Heart of Montmartre (10 minute walk), many theaters and museums in the area, famous cabarets (Moulin Rouge, Michou, Madame Arthur) make it a pleasant and very lively.

First four days in Paris...
We were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. Other tenants in the complex were welcoming and let us use their bistro sets in the evenings. The apartment had everything we needed for our short stay there. It was exceptionally clean. With not being from there, we had some difficulty locking our outside door (lift up handle) however we were provided with a quick response from our host to rectify the situation. The only downfall for us (and that was due to our age - 60's) was the trundle bed was a bit difficult to manage and difficult for one person getting in and out in the night. The pull out couch in the picture would have been easier for us. Can't see this being a problem with younger people...LOL.

The location was great, 2 stations away from Gard de Nor, great access to trains, fabulous area to explore many wonderful boutiques stores eg food stores, cafes etc. a real gem of a find.

Good Stay in Quiet Location
We stayed here for 5 nights in September 2023. The studio is laid out well and makes good use of its space. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, two burners and a small fridge. There was a good selection of cutlery, plates and cookware. There is ample storage in the closet area. The sofa bed (currently not shown in the VRBO photos) is comfortable. Instructions are provided for access from the street, access to the apartment door and WIFI ID/password. This information was provided a few days before our arrival. The studio is quiet and located in a vibrant area where there appears to be more permanent residents than tourists. A laundromat is located just down the street if required. There are several small grocery stores in the area for food and paper product shopping (i.e. toilet paper or paper towels). There is a nice sense of community within the permanent residents of this apartment complex. The bathroom in the studio is at a higher level than the main living area. There is a step of approximately 10 inches that is required to step in and out of that room. This wasn't an issue for us but could be for some. A feature that we found charming was the bell that tolled lightly on the hour and half hour. (The bell does not toll 24 hours.) Overall, we enjoyed our stay a great deal.

Great neighbourhood
The location of this VRBO is great, it’s in a beautiful neighbourhood steps away from restaurants, cafes and stores. Lots to see and do. Check in was quick and easy; same process on checkout, very easy. We did not use the kitchen facilities, therefore cannot speak to those. The unit it self has all the basics, and is compact, but does the job! Be aware, there is no A/C, so that could be an issue for others. The unit was fairly clean, however, the bathroom and linens seemed less so. Overall, it was an efficient base for our few days of adventures in Paris, enjoyed the neighbourhood - it felt safe and it was quiet.

Great location
The place was as advertised! Quaint and a wonderful escape from the busy streets of a Paris. The kitchen and outside tables allowed for wonderful meals at home but we were also just steps from cafes, stores and laundry. We would definitely stay again!

Location is perfect host not so much
The location is perfect in great neighborhood. However the place is tiny and truly has the bare minimal no hooks for coat, no full length mirror we were given 1 towel 1.5 rolls of toilet paper and no paper towels for our 7 day stay. Also make sure you do not plan to take more than 1 shower in the span of a couple hours hot water runs out super fast. When we contacted the host he was not willing to provide more toilet paper not a big deal but truly bare minimal. Also towards the last day there was a lot of mud because of rain and some got tracked in the host decided to charge 100 euro fee saying we left it dirty. If only He provided toilet paper or paper towels to clean it.

We like the property. It was pretty much as advertised. But Check in process was not clear for us… and needs some improvements. The host explained that he was in different time zone but it shouldn’t impact us as guests.

False accusation. Scammer and fraudulent BEWARE
For starters, the property is cramped and incredibly overpriced. Disregard that- here’s the real meat of my review. About a day after checking out, the host charged me for “damaging the apartment” and “using one too many towels” and “leaving the place in a trashy state,” absolutely NONE of which is true. It is incredibly sad that a host on what I thought was a trustworthy booking site scammed me. Integrity and trust are the backbone of a platform such as VRBO, and this host is far from honest. Do not book here, he will squeeze you of every last dime off of unjust and false accusations.

Great location
The apartment was in a really nice location for us and matched the provided description well. All utilities/wifi worked as expected and the courtyard made the space feel more quiet and safe, plus we were able to meet some friendly cats every morning. We were able to reach most of our destinations by walking or metro and there were many nearby good bakeries, grocery stores, cafés, etc. We didn't have any issues with the mattress so there might have been some improvements since the other reviews though there was construction during the last days we were there. The property manager provided clear instructions and was responsive. Thank you for the great stay!

Courtyard Apartment
The property is well located in a large courtyard building. The people are friendly , and it is very quiet, just two blocks from Rue Des Martyrs, it is easy to walk in all directions and get to transit. The only problem I had was having people walking by so that the curtains had to stay closed.

Small little place nestled within the busy streets. Courtyard was inviting. Walks to Metro, not horrible maybe 15 minutes at most. Apartment was noisy as on the end by the door so many up and down footsteps and the light would go on whenever someone walked by (all night long) and people chatting outside at all hours. Had no idea who to contact for needs. Wifi/internet down; contacted the property owner but never heard back. Very Large step up into bathroom with dirty shower. Happy to have a blowdryer!! Bring towels. We didnt intend staying in the room for an extended period of time; When we were because of the above mentioned items never felt settled in. Neighbors that we did walk by were friendly. Covered what we needed for our trip to Paris.

The location was wonderful, with quick, easy access to a great variety of local shops. Cool, tiny apartment. Comfortable and very user-friendly sofa bed and adequate cooking facilities . We would return here.

Needs some updates
Overall the apartment is okay...it is tiny which isn’t really that big of a deal. The biggest downfall is the couch/bed. I highly recommend just getting rid of the couch and putting a nice bed in there. Also it would be nice to have more than 1 towel and some linens. The hair dryer was unfortunately broken. Like I said overall there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the place it just needs some homing up a bit.

Studio calme et très bien situé
J'ai passé une semaine dans le studio avec ma fille de 16 ans. Nous avons apprecié le calme du lieu. Le quartier est très agreable, tous les commerces de première nécessité sont à proximité. A 10mn à pieds de la gare du nord et 12 mn en métro jusqu'à la gare de l'est. Au pied de la butte Montmartre et à 10mn des Grands Boulevards. De nombreux théatres dans le secteur. Bref je reviendrai sans hésiter.

Perfecty situated, authentical and quiet
Nice studio, modern and clean. Equipped with everything you need. Lovely neighbourhood and quarter. Everything is easy to reach: Restaurants, cafes, shops and delicous organic bakery / patisserie nearby. Also walking distance from Gare du Nord and Gare de l' Est. I enjoyed the stay a lot. Lage ideal, Empfehlung mit kleinem Aber
Die kleine FeWo war für meine Tochter und mich der optimale Startpunkt für unsere Stadterkundungen. In ca. einer Viertelstunde ist man zu Fuß in Montmartre - herrlich! Die Lage in einem grünen, recht ruhigen Wohnhof ist wirklich toll. An sich bietet die Wohnung alles, was man für einen Kurzurlaub braucht. Leider ist in puncto Sauberkeit Luft nach oben. Die Laken und Kopfkissen waren bei unserer Ankunft fleckig und voller langer dunkler Haare. Auf Bitte an den Vermieter erhielten wir am Folgetag frische Bettwäsche. Vor allem das kleine Duschbad könnte eine Grundreinigung gut gebrauchen (Stockflecken in der Duschkabine). Unsere Check-in-Infos erhielten wir erst am Vorabend unserer Anreise auf Nachfrage, aber zeitlich ausreichend. Leider bemerkten wir erst vor Ort, dass sich die Hoftür spätabends nicht mehr per Code öffnen lässt, sondern nur mit einem kleinen Transponder. Zum Glück kam ein Mieter zu der Zeit nach Hause, der uns mit rein ließ. Nach dem holprigen Start klappte die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter am nächsten Tag super per Telefon und WhatsApp. Alles in allem: Empfehlung!
