Be warned - description is VERY misleading....
Extremely disappointed... The night before arrival I called Hotels.com to 'specifically' ask if this facility had a restaurant & bar and I quote, "That would be open" - unquote... This was asked because I knew we would arrive late so too late to try local facilities, our actual arrival was 9.10 pm... Upon arrival, (when they 'eventually' opened the locked reception door as we stood outside in the poring rain), I was told the restaurant & bar are closed Friday to Monday...! There is absolutely no mention of this on either their or Hotels.com website. For a hotel that is off the beaten track this especially so should have been made crystal clear. My team had been travelling nonstop for 12 hours, goes without saying some facilities - even basic - would have been very much appreciated. Used Best Western in the past, rest assured never again after this debacle.... As for Hotels.com, watch out - I'm about to call you direct and I'm not happy......!!!!!!!

Stress free stay.
A fairly spartan room, but this hotel caters more for the business traveller. Service was excellent. Concierge booked us a table at a local restaurant while we were out all day. Not sure if they get a commission from restaurants they recommend but the italian one we used was very good.

great place to stay on the way to paris
we stayed at the golf hotel as a gateway into paris because we were worried about driving and parking our car in the city. The hotel is easy to find and very quiet. The train station was walking distance but the hotel offered a shuttle for free. the room was simle but neat and clean. The pool was a welcome bonus for the kids after a long drive from Germany. The neighborhood is very quiet and good for walking.

Good value hotel with a few minor issues...
Generally a good value hotel. The only issues we had were arriving on a Sunday evening to be told the restaurant was not open and that the nearest one was a couple of miles away. The other issue, and fairly specific to our family with young children, was that for a family room having a mezzanine floor for the children's room did not feel particularly safe, nor did having windows that opened fully with no guard to prevent falling out. Other than this, and they are not major problems, a nice stay.

Only stay if you can't find a better alternative
We stayed here for a visit to Disneyland but won't again. This hotel is clearly past its best. Worn out rooms and facilities. Staff were mixed - some very friendly, others less helpful. The shuttle service to the local RER station was erratic - nearly always left much later than their published timetable and only runs 9-5 on Friday to Sunday. Takes about 15 minutes to walk from the station to hotel. Hotel cleanliness poor to average, with floors in the public area particularly shabby. Our family room was quite small and the bathroom was in a poor state, with poor drainage. No air conditioning in the rooms which meant they could get very hot during August. Hit and miss whether your room has a refrigerator - ours didn't. The pool was pleasant but opening hours - 10am to 8pm - meant an early morning swim not possible; they don't provide separate towels. Hotel walls very thin and there was quite a lot of noise from the corridor through the night. Not a great choice of restaurants in Bussy Saints-Georges, the local town.

Terrible experience.
Toilet seat was broken. Fridge was not working in the room, swimming pool very small and not child friendly. Staff was very rude. I attended a disney fireworks show and returned late at night. i was shocked that your staff that night was happy to abadon me and my little girl ,despite a deparate call to your hotel that we were staying in your hotel and we were lost.

Family Room Easy distance from Eurodisney
My Family and i stayed at this hotel in order to be within and easy distance of EuroDisney. The journey to and from was very quick, so this aspect was fulfilled. The Hotel was in general clean, however there was no air-conditioning in the room and while a fan was supplied in 30 degree weather this was insufficient. In the Particular room we were in we were above the kitchens, which would not have mattered were it not for the fact that staff appear to stand outside the kitchens in order to smoke. Given that we were on a non-smoking floor, with two small children and the windows open due to the heat, this aspect was quite disappointing. Also disappointing was that the sofa bed opened out for the use of the children had an itchy blanket with the sheets rather than a duvet and was also NOT clean. We didn't use the blanket anyway because of the heat but that is hardly the point. The shower was nice; we also liked the staff who were generally friendly and helpful. There was an outdoor pool which we also used, but be advised that while it is a nice size for children to paddle about in, with both a nice gradient and a child height standing ledge all the way around, for adults it is only about five strokes long and one push off wide. We didn't have the breakfast so I cannot rate it however we felt that the price of the breakfast was excessive (which is why we didn't have it).

A bit far but nice!
This hotel was a bit far out from Paris but the room was cheap and a decent size. The rooms were clean. We made sure to lock all are stuff up before we left for the day.The shuttle bus hours were ridiculous so we walked most of the time which was about 10-15min walk. The hotel is 2 stops from Disneyland Paris.

Great experience
We had driven up from Meribel and stopped at this hotel for a night to see Paris before heading off to the Eurotunnel. It was perfect for us, the room was clean and extremely comfortable - and huge! The lady at the front desk was absolutely lovely and gave us all the information we needed to get to the station into Paris, and the local amenities (in fluent English too), which were about a 15 minute walk away. Bussey St Georges is a really lovely area. It was so nice for us to be able to come back from the madness of wandering around Paris to this hotel, which seemed slightly out of place in this suburbia. The train into Paris is easy and cheap too! Breakfast was ok, about on par with the other experiences we had in french hotels on our trip. Nothing fancy, but reasonably priced and filled you up. We're planning on going back to see more of Paris for a long weekend this year, and will certainly be returning to this hotel.

Staff Very helpful. Excellent choices of Breakfast for any nationality and plenty of it. Well worth having. Children welcome and given a Teddy Bear. Helped with Wireless connection for IPAD. Room excellent and cleaned every day, warm, plenty of pillows and towells. Coffee and tea choices..

We chose Best Western Golf Hotel because it is close to Paris and Paris Disney Park. Staff speak English well enough. Clean. We did not order any services. Outside pool was disappointing - other BW hotels mostly have indoor pools? Location for our purposes perfect.

The hotel is in the middle of a residential area. The exterior of the hotel is in need of repair.a good painting might help. The bathroom floor was disgusting,it looked like something had leaked,behind the toilet the wall had been repaired,rough fresh plaster showing.The bed was comfortable. It was advertised as a four star but has to be one of the worst Best Western hotels we have stayed in. It was a Sunday evening,the restaurant was of course closed as were most in town. We managed to get a sandwich at a local deli.breakfast for 14.50€, no thank you. I would feel sorry for a family that would come to enjoy Disneyworld and expect a good place to stay from your advertisement and ratings. We picked the hotel because it was close to the airport. A let down for our last night in France. It was very expensive for what you got.

Lovely hotel with good facilities for the family.
I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with my husband and three children. We had a wonderful time. We had two adjoining rooms, each en suite on the ground floor. The accommodation was perfect for the five of us. The Reception staff were very helpful providing us with details of travel, places to see etc. The breakfast was very filling and we all looked forward to it each morning. We did not have other meals as it would have been quite pricey for all of us. We were able to use the free shuttle service to and from the hotel to the local station in the morning as parking was not easy in the mornings. All in all, it was a lovely experience. The hotel was clean throughout and there was an outdoor pool, tennis courts etc

Fab place to stay
The Best Western Golf hotel is a fantastic choice as a base for a trip to Paris/Disneyland. Its approx 25 mins into the centre of Paris or 10 mins to Disneyland in the other direction, and also easy to get to the airport once you have an understanding of the metro system. There is a free shuttle to the metro station, although it is only a 10 min walk away. The room was fine, a big double bed and good sized double sofa bed, and also a fridge and coffee making facilities. The room was cleaned and fresh bedding/towels provided daily. Breakfast was as expected, mixture of English and continental. There is a bar in the hotel lobby, and a snooker table inside and table tennis outside. The thing which impressed me most about this hotel is the service from the staff who were friendly and polite from check in. On one occasion, my daughter and myself somehow managed to get lost returning to the hotel from going to a supermarket near the station (not entirely our fault, when we stopped to check we were going in the right direction, I think language barriers meant we were sent in the wrong direction!) I couldn't reach my husband as he was in the playground opposite the hotel with our son, so luckily I had a map from the hotel which had their telephone number on, called reception and explained we were lost and asked for help. I was able to provide a street name so he told me to stay where we were and sent the shuttle on a detour from the station to pick us up.

Comfortable & Affordable close to Disneyland
Stayed 3 nights, splendid stay. Hotel is very clean, cleaners come everyday too! Staff are amazing, helpful and approachable, helped me sort out my train times back home to London when there was a train strike and my original train was cancelled. Furthermore they tell you clearly what is in your locality and how to get there. They all mostly speak fluent English! Family friendly - outdoor play for children, Disney brochures and discount leaflets around. Hotel has a lift. Infants eat breakfast free! Location is very safe, in a nice new development in a suburb, 10mins walk from train station, that is one stop from shopping centre, and two stops to Disneyland. Hotel provide shuttle bus which is frequent and convenient. free WiFi! Overall outstanding experience for a small price. Everything was literally perfect.
