We hiked to Foley Mountain with breath tracking views, as well as a canoe ride just down the street, which Hermann provides you the canoe for a rental fee. "This property and home was unbelievable! The pictures do not do it it justice, I've been telling all my friends and family about this and showing my photos of the unique home. The octagon shape with the fireplace as the centre of the main room is beautiful. When we first arrived it felt like an adventure to learn the home. "Hosts are very welcoming and show you everything and thought of everything. Very private with large grassy yard My golden doodle had a blast playing fetch and being off leach. We played bocce ball and enjoyed the fire pit as well as the lit screened in picnic table in the evening. Cabin is compact but windows let in a wee breeze. The kayaks were the highlight, kayaking to the waterfall. Happy, relaxing time 😎🐶"

"We stayed for 3 nights and it was nice to be by the water but the cabin was very poorly maintained. Screen was hanging out of the door. There was very little in the way of cutlery (2 forks only). Trees need trimming so that renters can see the water. Nice to canoe the lake and watch the diving birds in the evenings."

"This place was wonderful! Cozy little cottage and very clean! Barbara was a pleasure. The cottage is close to the main house but our hosts gave us all the privacy and respected our space. It was truly a great place to stay and loved being so close to Westport village, Foley mountain, and the public beach. Beautiful experience. Chantal and Brian"

"We arrived late due to 4 accidents in 401 west, DVP and 401 East. The website says check in after 4 pm, but the owner said that it is at 4 pm and as such she had to pay the money we paid her to the property manager to wait for us. there was no paper in the washroom which was very dirty. the rooms, dishes, appliances were all dirty. there was no gas for BBQ and no oven tray to cook the food we brought. the owner kept on blaming us for being late and that she did not make money out of our stay....
