Pardubice became a town sometime around 1340. Back then it was owned by the Lords of Pardubice, the most prominent figure of the line being Arnošt of Pardubice, the first Archbishop of Prague, advisor and friend to Emperor Charles IV, a distinguished European personality of that time. Best hotel in Kolin

"A very nice traditional hotel. Rooms were clean and nice size. There is limited parking in front of hotel and parking on the adjacent street. Staff were courteous and attentive to service. A Kolin resident told me we were staying in the best hotel in Kolin. We were very satisifed with everything. Breakfast, included, was well appointed. Internet WIFI in the room worked perfect."
