Room excellent - spacious with cooking facilities in the private hall rather than the bedroom itself so you do not need to sleep with stale cooking smells. Very well equipped, though in summer the lack of air con may be a factor. Only downside was the pillows (though that and the lack of air con seems to be a common problem in hotels in Germany)."

"It is a particular style of decor throughout the Landhaus (everything about knights, and middle ages - all fake etc) that isn't appealing to me. The room was on the ground floor, you couldn't open the curtain or the window because everyone could look into our room and it was somewhat stuffy. "We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a broader trip through Germany as we toured Rugen And Usedom. This is a remote hotel within walking distance to the Baltic Sea in the quaint little small town of Devin. The rooms are a decent size for Germany and they were clean and comfortable. The staff spoke little English but were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was one of our favorites in Germany with exceptional schnitzel! it was five stars! Would definitely stay here again."
