"Despite some unseasonal cold and wet weather and suffering from colds caught on the ferry from GB we really enjoyed our 2 weeks at L’Abeille Bleue. What made it so great was the warmth of our hosts Didier and Patricia, a most welcoming and generous couple. Didier was so concerned that we understood how the heating system worked (we really needed it!) that he came in twice to check that we understood it. And we also benefitted greatly from gifts of fruit (peaches, apples, figs) and vegetables...

"Bei unserer Ankunft sind wir herzlich begrüßt worden. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ist ideal für eine Familie mit 2 Kindern. Es verfügt über 2 Terrassen und an kühleren Tagen kann gern der Kamin benutzt werden. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut: Küche, Wohnzimmer, Bad und Schlafzimmer bieten alles für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet; in das Zentrum sind es ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß....

"Lovely little break, and lots of space for the whole family. But the Vrbo listing is a 3rd party agent. We chose to book this property for all the amenities included only to find a week before that we'd be charged extra for bedding and towels, the property owner then saying she doesn't use Vbro and advertises through someone else and advertises for the extras on their site. Not a ruined holiday but added another level of worry when we only discovered this the day before getting on a ferry"

It is a lovely home that is part of a renovated compound surrounded by grape vinyeards near the adorable town of Franceuil. "We found 81 Bis to be a perfect location with plenty to do within a few miles of our base. The apartment was well equipped with views over the garden on 2 sides and parking for our car plus safe storage for the bikes. Shopping within easy reach and the beautiful city of Tours just 12 miles away. For us the bed was very hard and not to our liking but it might well suit other people. We are both 72 and enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you"

"What a great holiday we had at this lovely gîte. It is spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is lovely and has a plenty to keep everyone of all ages occupied, including table tennis, zip line, boules and the pool. A big attraction are the animals which you can help look after, a pony, goats and some chickens. A great find and we hope we can stay there again!"

J'ai hâte de pouvoir y retourner faire de l équitation avec ma fille (mélange des niveaux super idée comme c'est rare de pouvoir trotter à côté de sa fille qui n'a fait qu'une heure de cours d équitation en vacances l été dernier, elle a adoré et moi aussi!). "This is a brilliant property. It’s an old vineyard house, stylishly converted and very well equipped. The description and photos are accurate. There is a lovely garden in front with chairs and loungers, which sadly we were unable to use because of the persistent rain. Claude and Francine are the best of hosts, welcoming, friendly but discreet. All in all, a great choice for a week in the Loire Valley"
