"Easy access to Le P'tit Train du Nord trail. Booking confimation indicated that we could check in Monday after 11am, out Friday before 4pm. First guests arrived to find driveway had not been plowed. Entered chalet, beds slept in but not stripped (or fresh laundry available), dirty towels in washing machine but not laundered, no toilet paper in bathroom, kitchen not cleaned, etc. - it was obvious the cleaning crew had not been there. After starting laundry and contacting the host and providing photos, they indicated that there is a glitch in the software, it was supposed to say check in after 4pm (not our problem), then got back to us a couple of hours later that the cleaning crew could be there AT 4pm, we said don't bother because they would be there for hours cleaning while we waited. With permission from the agent, we obtained access to the supplies and outfitted ourselves. Stay was relatively uneventful, small things such as the kitchen kettle and bathroom hair dryer not working, no firewood for fireplace readily available, were overcome. Hot tub worked, but needed attention.On Friday, one couple stayed to ride a bit before leaving in the afternoon, and - surprise - the agent called at 12pm indicating the cleaning crew were on site, but chalet was still occupied; I reminded them of the stated 4pm checkout, and that the cleaners would just have to wait. They offered a monetary refund, which took a few days and a couple of phone calls from me to prompt."

The deck completely surrounds the chalet and is a perfect spot to walk around with your morning coffee and take in nature or have a beer while bbqing. "

We made many memories here in only a few days. We are deeply grateful to our host, Anahid, for her attention to detail and for making our stay so memorable. We loved every second of our time here and hope to return."
