"Cosy cabin with everything we needed. Bathroom was a good size and the shower was hot. We had an amazing view of hills and mountains in the distance from our kitchen window and veranda. Ate at the nearby Mole Creek Hotel, great food! Visited Trusnna sanctuary next door to us, would highly recommend this. Great location for walks in the area. "

"Family & friends stayed as they were overflow from my house for birthday celebration.Everybody loved proximity to beach & teenagers spent lots of time on beach & swimming. It was great to be able to have larger group in one house instead of spread around several homes."

"It's hard to describe the style of this new(ish) build which actually looks quite old. Gothic, European? Who knows. It's quite different to anything we've stayed in before. Lovely outlook and very peaceful and surrounded by trees - isolated but not too far from Sheffield. Our first reaction was how dark it was inside but once the blinds were fully lifted things improved although still not as light as we normally like and we found the lounge area quite solidly furnished - no fripperies or...

"Last place down a small track with zero traffic. Perfect for solitude and a bottle of wine in the veranda. Local pub with good food and a small brewery with excellent red ale. "

"We stayed there with our show dogs as we had a show in Ulverstone which was less than 15 mins away. Great secure backyard for dogs to relax in after the shows each day. And sat out with them on the front porch enjoying the lovely weather. Lovely and quiet area which was good as our dogs remained quiet too. House was a bit warm at night but very comfy overall. Had everything you need. "

"Linda, We truly enjoyed staying at you're home. It was very clean, welcoming and very peaceful. We enjoyed the chickens and even had a fresh egg breakfast our first morning. The star gazing was our favorite. It was so amazing and something we are not used to being from Chicago. We have way too much light pollution to see what you see. Devonport’s newest boutique accommodation

"Fantastic little gem of a place. A little rough looking outside, but a gem in side. A great Decor and a bathroom to dream for. We will be rebooking this home on our next trip south. Thank you for your fabulous home for us to stay in."

"Very impressed overall. Very well equipped and spacious. Perhaps mention of the proximity of the railway line could be made. It did not bother us but might for some people."

Living, dining and kitchen all connected. Open plan. Very comfy armchairs from IKEA.

"Clean, comfortable and well maintained. Quiet location with some sea views. Close to Devonport by car and a great base for exploring the northern area of Tasmania. "

"Everything was provided we didn't want for anything. Lovely and clean and plenty of basics like tea and coffee were in plentiful supply. The host was friendly and welcoming .A beautiful comfortable house with incredible views in which ever direction you looked in."

"The Hobbit Cottage is a charming jewel. The host provided fresh eggs, ham, bread, apple cider and fresh pasteurized milk for breakfast. The host is gracious and gave us excellent tips for hikes. At night the stars are tremendous. An excellent stay!!!"
