Come visit paradise in Paradise! This is a 3 bedroom, 2-bathroom lake front home. The home features an open plan with hardwood floors, an updated kitchen and bathrooms. There is a firepit that sits near the lake for your enjoyment. The large lot is nicely wooded which provides privacy from neighbors and the road. This home is located in close proximity to the town of Paradise (1/2 mile). Tahquamenon Falls which includes great hiking trails, Whitefish Bird Sanctuary, and Whitefish Point that also hosts the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum are less than 10 miles away. Additionally, other attractions about an hour or less are, Oswald Bear Ranch, Sault Ste Marie/Soo Locks, Mackinaw Island and city.

Perfect U.P. locale
Picturesque location right on Whitefish Bay; what a lovely getaway in the woods. House is well-stocked and roomy and comfortable. Owner was very responsive. Would stay again.

Cool getaway!
Wonderful place to stay! We escaped the Texas 100+ temps in July to beautiful 70s in the day and 50s at night. So much to do in the area! We did a lot of hiking and visited local museums. We weren’t at the house much, but when we were, it felt like home!

Quiet and Spacious
We were delighted to spend three days here. A very spacious cottage with an ample kitchen, which was perfect for preparing our own meals. Also, having a mudroom/washer and drier was extremely helpful at this leg in our vacation.

Yes it’s Paradise!
Lovely clean home with all amenities. Centrally located to Mackinac , st Ignace , Sault st Marie . Lake view and fire ring makes for a very nice evening. Eat in and have everything you need including a gas grill! Beautifully decorated and comfortable . Loved our stay! Gracious hosts!

Nice base for exploring the UP
We spent a few days at this house while exploring the eastern UP. Nice house. Clean. Comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet location. Great views of the lake This place was as advertised and the owner was great to deal with. I’d stay here again.

Hiking trip to eastern UP
We loved the location close to Tahquamenon Falls State Park. We were able to enjoy all of our evening meals at the house, enjoyed the sunset and the refreshing shower. Loved the memory foam mattresses on the Queen beds. House was spacious and private/quiet. We were very lucky to get sunshine and low 70s in early May.

Adventures in Paradise
The house was perfect and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the comfy beds and firepit outside. The views of Lake Superior were spectacular! The house was a great jumping off point to see many of the treasures of the UP. We would definitely stay here again and also recommend to our friends and family. Thanks for everything!

Side by side trip
Everything was perfect! Great location, close to waterfalls, shops, the shipwreck museum, and 1000's of miles of trails to ride on! The house was stocked with comfy beds, linens, towels, and every kitchen appliance you can think of! Roomy enough for 6 people, we only had 4, but it was a great space to relax and reconnect in. The bonfire setting was beautiful complete with views of Lake Superior. We will definitely be back for snowmobile season!

Great Getaway
Very nicely updated home right on Lake Superior’s Whitefish Bay. Great views of Canada. Kitchen is great with modern appliances. Very comfortable mattresses and updated bathrooms. Modern washer and dryer. Great location near Whitefish Point and other attractions. Groceries are limited so shop and bring up what you need and enjoy!

Reunion with friends
Our stay near Paradise was perfect. Four women who grew up together met for a week of eating, laughing and touring the sites nearby. The home was so well equipped---just lovely! But... we give the view a 10+ with the most beautiful sunrises. We highly recommend our tours---Pictured Rocks Boat Tour, Tahquamenon Falls, Shipwreck Museum, Oswald Bear Ranch and the Cranberry Farm. Eating---the Brewery at Upper Tahquamenon Falls, the Inn and Wheelhouse Diner (great breakfast) all very good. And we ended an evening by the water with a fire in the fire pit. Thank you to our hosts for help when we contacted and sharing their lovely Lake Superior home.

906 Fun Time!
Our upper peninsula adventure was a success! We hoped to show our four kiddos all the sites in the UP, but the weather had a different plan. Luckily, 906 was a perfect home base! There was plenty of space for the 6 of us! The inside was gorgeous and clearly recently updated! The kitchen was fully stocked with all kitchen items necessary! Having 2 full baths was a bonus! We just wish there was easy access to the water from the property. Thanks Mike and Theresa!

If R&R is your goal, the UP should be your destination!
We decided to change things up a bit this year. Instead of heading to NC for a beach vacation, we decided to go north to the UP. I have to give my wife full credit for this. She picked out the location and the house. Up North was a beautiful house. Very clean, well stocked with all of the house hold items you will need. The big bay windows face to the east, giving you an incredible early morning view of summer sun coming up over Lake Superior! Quite breath taking! The ship wreck muesuem is worth the drive. The falls are great! Two thumbs up to the Michigan state parks! Very nice trails. Oswald's bears were awesome. Definitely worth the drive! Paradise is a nice small town. We ate breakfast at the community center which was a fundraiser for the local fire department. Everyone was extremely friendly. We spent several evenings out by the firepit with a nice fire going. It is right by the water. The string of lights hanging from the trees by the pit is a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.

Our Adventure in Paradise, MI
Excellent! Easy to find! Good road address stake! Water was very drinkable, delicious. (If you've ever tasted unfiltered UP well water you’d know!) Good cell reception at the house Wifi great Location in Paradise, excellent! 20 mins to Tahquamenon Falls, 1 hour to Sault St. Marie locks, 1.5 hours to Munising, Michigan Mattresses great, very comfortable Love the open floor plan Kitchen was well stocked! • Pots, pans, excellent utensils • Refrigerator/freezer excellent • Foil & plastic wrap provided Washer & dryer were awesome and essential with a two year old Insect guys came when everyone, except my husband, were sleeping, very gracious to come back that afternoon. Only surprise was no access to the lake. There is a steep bank (6-8 ft) with large boulders with a request to stay off. The house is truly on the lakeshore, the views are astounding, but we assumed we had access to the shoreline. Turned out great, though, went up to Whitefish Point (20 mins) and utilized the gorgeous sand beach there!

Large comfortable home- beach not accessable
The house was in progress of being resided but the owner lets us know. I was a bit disappointed as I should have paid attention that the beach was not accessible. I had hopes to walk along the beach but no way was this possible. The bugs were absolutely wicked. The owner had yet to have the property sprayed which would have made the stay way better!! That was definitely frustrating. Check out progress was pretty easy but prepared to have to stay around to get the towels in the dryer which basically means you are unable to dry hands off while waiting. We have stayed at oodles of properties and have never been asked to do this. I am hoping that modify this to allow others to not have to do this. We put the towels on speed cycle so hopefully they got clean for the next guests. I had asked about firewood and it was suggested to bring from a larger city, this is not necessary as tons of locals sell it along the roads. Over a great house and would be great for a big family! Nice bathrooms and the king bed was super comfy. Good internet a was a bonus and lakes views superb. No curtains on some windows in master bedroom which we realized the last night that the people that moved in right next door could see in:(

Great location and comfortable stay
Located close to both Taquamenon falls and whitefish point. Only issue is that the entry key pad is impossible to find in daylight, let alone a rainstorm at night, and the owner was difficult to reach to help resolve. Once resolved, everything was fine.

Beautiful view of Lake Superior
This house was exactly as advertised with fully stocked kitchen, fans in each of the bedrooms (it was a very warm week in September) and a beautiful view of Lake Superior and stunning sunrises every morning. The information provided for the area was very helpful. The Paradise Food Pantry Market had a decent selection of groceries even though we brought most of our own food to cook.

Superior View
The accommodations were excellent. From the ad we thought you could walk out on the beach. This is not the case. Spectacular view though. Host contact was excellent. Notebook with information for the house and area was very informative. We do have one suggestion however. You should put in the book to make sure not to lock the handle into the house. We locked ourselves out even though we had the correct code for the door. The most was very quick to help us get in. Every amenity was available from very nice dishes, gas stove, towels, washer dryer, etc. Great fire pit with a spectacular view. Area surrounding the home was very quiet which we loved. Highly recommend this VRBO!
