"We always have a pleasant stay at Bay and Basin in Sanctuary Point. The staff are super nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. Super chuffed that we also got a room upgrade. Would definitely recommend this motel!"

"Stayed for 2 nights over the Anzac long weekend with my husband and 2 teens. We absolutely loved the flat. It’s new, modern, great bathroom, kitchen, comfy beds and having Netflix and Disney available while watching TV was a hit. Location is only 10 mins drive to Hyams Beach. We went for a walk to nearest basin which was Palm Beach (just over 15 mins walk) then some of the Basin Walk. We also ate at Country Club Sanctuary Point and got take away from Pizza, Pasta and Ribs at Sanctuary Point. Seen kangaroos behind the petrol station (the golf club) and even at night seen the kangaroos just a roaming the nearby streets from the flat. Supplied Shampoo, Conditioner, body wash, hand wash, dishwashing detergent, coffee, hot choc and tea sachets, milk, cooking oil, bbq and tomato sauce and so many too mention! Love the black squeegee in the shower and the gaming mug - so I ordered the same things from Amazon when I got home Lol. All the beds were comfy and the ceiling fans for each room was perfect. Aircon on the main area is great too! Clare and Jack are great host, they gave us privacy and the highlight of our stay is meeting Tink and Herc! Thank you so much and can’t wait to stay again next time. :)"

"Arriving was simple and easy with Jeans instructions. Cottage was clean, and instructions for everything such as tv and Netflix were very helpful. Good location, 15 mins to Huskisson, 15 mins to HMAS Creswell. It was perfect for our long weekend attending a function at the Naval College. Happy to recommend. "

"I would definitely stay here again, however, it would be a very tight with anymore then five people.The mattress on the bottom double bunk bed needs replacing as it had indents from people sitting on it from playing the PlayStation or watching TV. "

"Jane is a very welcoming host and her home is really comfortable and pretty. The garden is a great place to relax and watch the birds and we loved watching the kangaroos visit out front of an evening. We will definitely return! "

"I stayed here in December 2024 & absolutely adored it! It's a lovely house that is beautifully furnished & super comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked & suitable for entertaining, with lots of space, kitchenware & excellent appliances. The bathroom is freshly renovated with a luxe rainfall shower & modern washing machine. The lounge is spacious, with big leather couches, TV & large marble table that seats 6+. Then there is another living area at the back, which is fully enclosed with screens. It has another large table & plenty of seating, & it looks out over the garden, the nature reserve & the water. The bed I slept in was really really comfy, with high-quality linens & perfect mattress. I slept better than I do in my own bed at home! There's plenty of parking, & the property is on a quiet street. But by far the highlight for me was the location. There were wallabies on the lawn when I got there, & bandicoots at night. An extraordinary range of birds, and the peaceful sounds of nature all around. Literally right at the back door there is a sturdy walking path along the water, which made it very very easy to get out there & enjoy the reserve every day. Watching the sun set over water, surrounded by ducks & swans & pelicans was a particular highlight - less than 100m from the house! The hosts were very helpful & professional, the locals were friendly & there are plenty of shops nearby. Nearby there are many attractions & lots to see & do. Highly recommend!"
