"Our visit back to Hotel Kaveka 23 years after our honeymoon at the same location was wonderful. We prefer smaller, locally run and/or owned hotels, and Hotel Kaveka does not disappoint. The manager was kind enough to upgrade us for our stay, and we enjoyed our spacious and clean bungalow, a few steps from the water. "Overall a very enjoyable stay. We were disappointed with the ‘beach’ and the water did not seem very clean but the swimming pool was great and compensated for this. Small details needed attention ie unsecured toilet seat in one bathroom, light globe missing. "Our host was lovely. There was a welcome pack of water, butter, jams, eggs and fruit juice. She explained where the best places to eat were and where to avoid. Also where the nearest shops were. The property has a great location on the lagoon, and it was lovely sitting on the veranda in the evening listening to the water. "
