"We practically had the whole area by ourselves as we were there during off peak season. It was clean and very nice for my family of 6. The hotel was extremely accommodating and helpful! We would stay there again! "

"The hotel Al-Taïr Via Duca Degli Abruzzi 83 San Vito LoCapo is a hotel I would recommend. Very clean and owner available every day if you wished information or help. Less than a five minute walk to the beach. My only negative point was the breakfast buffet was the same every day. Air conditioning worked and tv had Sky available as well as terrestrial stations."

"You are literally at the ocean for this place! It was nice to fall asleep to the waves. Easy to find, and the owner met me there. Super helpful and friendly Fabio is! The room was very clean and comfortable. Quiet place. They have a family restaurant about 10 meters away which had amazing seafood! Would definitely come back here!"

"Hands down the best hotel experience I have ever had! Don’t waste a second longer looking at other options in the area as Villa Cristina should be where you stay where exploring the Castellammare del Golfo area. Technically this is a B&B but would beat any 5 star ultra luxury hotel in the world. "We received a warm welcome after a long drive to San Vito. I couldn’t speak any more highly of the staff, who were wonderful and always going that extra mile. Room was decent, and cleaned well every day with new towels. Wifi good. Breakfast was okay but all you really need is a cappuccino and a cornetto anyways. Roof terrance really great feature! Recommend :)"

"Hanny was a gracious host. Her property is beautifully maintained and the house was very clean. The view is spectacular and the crystal clear water is just a few steps away. I went in later February and the water was refreshing. I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay again. "

"We were delighted with our choice of Marina Di Petrolo. The hotel is bright, smart and very clean. Our family room for my wife, daughter and I was a very good size, nicely decorated and smart. The staff were so nice and friendly at all times, and were always willing to help. We were grateful for the wonderful room cleaning staff who tidied and cleaned our rooms every day. There was an excellent Italian breakfast option every day, including freshly-made coffee of your choice. The location is not completely central but all the main areas of the town are easily accessible by foot, which is better to do anyway! Nevertheless there's a spectacular view of the bay from both the breakfast room and our own room. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was winter, but it looked nice. It would have been nice to have had the option to have meals other than breakfast, but it wasn't difficult to find other places around town (including a terrific pizza delivery place directly opposite!). We would love to come back to Sicily and if we are in this part of the island, Marina di Petrolo will be a definite place to revisit."
