"My husband and I had been looking for a place near the apartment we rented 50 years ago. We couldn't believe the location of Anna's house. It was perfect! There is not a lot of ocean view from the apartment, but as soon as you walk out of the gate, there it is. We didn't rent a car, and instead walked everywhere. Granted the hill leading to the apartment is no easy feat, but it is worth it as were our treks to Pausillipon archeological ruins and then downtown to Mergillina. We couldn't believe...

"The views from this apartment are stunning! Overlooks the Bay with Vesuvius in the distance You can catch glorious sunrises from the balcony. It is in a residential area so it is peaceful quiet. Perfect for our group. You do need to plan for transportation to almost anywhere as there is not too much within an easy walk. However, there is a bus stop across the street and we had no trouble securing a taxi whenever needed. Highly recommend!"

"From check in to check out and beyond Valentina could not have been more helpful. She gave us lots of useful information about the island and locality, even her own production of a map containing everything we needed. A little away from the busy areas which was exactly what we wanted. Store and brilliant deli in easy walking distance and they all deliver. Plenty of sun beds and bikes available for guest use."

"Could do with a complete refurbish. Two rooms had no hot water. Toilet seats missing . Some bathrooms had black mould and needs resealing . Could not cook as cooking equipment dated not even a sharp knife to cut melon. Only three teaspoons . We had seven children . We did not eat in once. The barbecue was dirty dated and not useable. We paid €10 for bedding and towels each person . Most towels ok, two bedrooms had old towels I would use as dog towels. One couple left after one week as they could...

"My 5 and 9 years old girls loved it, the pool and the short walk to the bay with their thermal waters was the main attraction. We ate beautiful pizzas and salads at the snack bar, and the drinks were reasonably priced. But getting there and out with public transport was an odyssey, absolutely horrible, specially with the children. They do shutter buses from the hotel to Panza, where you can get the bus to other locations, but again, be mindful of the crows and the heat in the local buses!...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All the staff were lovely and helpful. A special mention for Nicole, grandson of the owner, for his kindness and good humour. "There is a grocery store right across the street and a pizzeria "attached" to the hotel. We had to go to a pharmacy and it was only 8 minutes away, a quick walk. The continental breakfast was good, croissants, juice, coffee, fruit, and pastries provided. There were also cold cuts that we didn't try but others were eating. There is a mini bar in the room but we didn't open it for fear of getting charged lol. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The smart TV was great so that we could log in the various apps on our own account to watch (Netflix, Disney, Amazon). Our checkin/check out was smooth. I would stay here again."

"The staff were more than excellent. The room and the sea view/castle view were excellent. The breakfast was unbelievably excellent with so many food/drink options. I didn’t swim in the pool as it wasn’t as blue as pictured in the advertisement (was a shade of green/couldn’t see the bottom) but the thermal pools were nice and relaxing. And the beach/sea access was perfect and well maintained. Would highly recommend this relaxing atmosphere with wonderful views. Everything we wanted to do was walkable and very close to the ferry port and down a quiet beautiful street."
