"Just like another 2 couples , we couldn’t gain access to the property as we were told it was damaged on arrival to the property . We were left stranded and had to sleep on the street due to not being able To afford accadation elsewhere . We spoke to a man who we think was in charge of the property and he couldn’t have gave less of a damn. Shocking with no communication from Expedia and the property to not have yhe DECENCY to let us know !"

"A few toothing problems upon arrival, but the host sorted. The room was generally comfy and clean, but could do with abit of TLC to make look better. Radiator wasn't consistently working, which was not nice in the morning. "

"Michael is a gentleman, he was very quick to sort out an issue that arose during my stay. He went out of his way to do all he could to make the stay more relaxed and enjoyable. Please don't think you're paying for a hotel room at this price however, what I got I was more than happy with and while lots of people will complain, you get what you pay for. For Liverpool football fans this place is literally right next door! Look out the windows and you can literally reach out and touch the Stadium! "

"Great location and wonderful property. It was just a touch chilly as there are no radiators other than a small electric convection heater which we weren’t sure about so didn’t use. Other than that, everything think else was top drawer and the host extremely helpful. "

"Very large room and very clean but generally a bit tired. Weirdly no TV in the room, we didn’t need one but just surprised to find a room these days without one. Host very knowledgeable and welcoming. Would stay again."

"Jonathan welcomed us as we arrived. He gave us a full overview about the area, touring options and the house facilities. He was very considirate and we worked a breakfast that suited our kosher diet. The house is AMASING! huge bed, beutiful bathroom, everything is nicely decorated. We didn't come with a car so we used public transportation (Uber, train). It worked great."

"Simon and Sue welcomed us as old friends of the family and after 2 days we thought we were. They are lovely people, very obliging, we had a fantastic breakfast included. They provided excellent advice on the sights of Liverpool and transport to and from, including the Mersey Ferry, Thankyou for the lift, and a personalised map. Every part of our stay was easy. We thank Simon and Sue for a wonderful stay. Pam and I can not recommend 2 The Rocklands highly enough. 10 out of 5 stars."

"Great service, easy check in. Lovely room and easy parking. No issues whatsoever. Thank you for a lovely stay"

"Very slow check in, card machine not working so had to write my card details down on a piece of paper (not sure this is compliant with GDPR). No iron available. Paid £15 for breakfast thinking it was a cooked breakfast but was only continental consisting of a box of cereal, a piece of ham, 2 pieces of cheese, rock hard crusty roll and a jar of strawberries. Drove 5 minutes down the road and got 2 full English breakfasts for £16. There was no shower gel and only half a toilet roll left for us....

"An extremely warm welcome set the tone for my visit, yea and cake to start off with. First class service delivered by the marvellous hosts. A very well appointed room and en-suite bathroom. A fantastic house with a spectacular spacious garden. Minutes away from the Bird in the Hand pub and restaurant. I will be back for future visits to my family in the area. Very tasty breakfast ideal for setting up your day of activities."

"This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It’s right in the shopping area. Everything is in walking distance. It’s very clean inside, all of the amenities made me feel as though I was at home. Modern apartment. The staff were really nice, specifically Jack. Parking was very convenient, I never actually needed my car as we walked everytwjere. I will always stay here whenever I come to Liverpool. I would highly recommend this place. "

"We upgraded to a canal view room which had a sofa and felt spacious. Breakfast was included and well organised and with everything you needed included. I liked the onsite indoor pool and gym which felt well organised and very clean. The hotel was an easy walk from from the train station and into the centre of Chester. "

"We had the most amazing stay at The Titanic hotel back in Feb. We stayed midweek and had a great time. The room was massive and the bed so comfortable! Spacious bathroom with ‘his & here’ double sink. Large shower and bath. We paid extra to use the spa facilities however didn’t really rate this. Felt it was a little bit overbooked for the amount of space available. Would definitely stay again and recommend the Titanic hotel to others but wouldn’t visit the spa again."

" I had an excellent stay at The Halyard Liverpool from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with hot chocolate and rum at reception—a thoughtful and unique touch that set the tone for a fantastic experience. The room was perfect—spacious, with the ideal temperature and top-notch facilities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with luxurious bed linen and pillows that made for a wonderful night’s sleep. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure maximum comfort. The bathroom amenities were outstanding—the shower gel and shampoo were the best I’ve ever used, adding a touch of luxury to my stay.
