"This was a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of Old Town. We had a spacious suite with a loft. The pool was an excellent addition to take a dip after our walks. Breakfast was so yummy, especially the Greek pastries and yoghurt. The outdoor area was beautiful. Would highly recommend this quaint hotel."

"The property is exquisite, no doubt. Very unique building and room that has kept some of the original building characteristics. Couple big issues though. First, the Wi-Fi is totally unusable, at least in the room we reserved. Was told it was normal because of the old stones used in buildings. If that’s the case, they should have a mesh network or a better solution than whatever they have now because we legit couldn’t get things to load and were told there was no internet at times by sites....

"The suite was amazing. Very modern, it was new and it showed. very short walk to multiple beaches & the view from the rooftop infinity pool was to die for. If your planning on staying at bali in Crete ( a little seaside village ) I highly recommend this place"

"I'm quite fussy about where we stay (to say the least!) and Marianthi apartments did not disappoint! Rooms were spotless, cleaned everyday to a high standard and had everything you needed. The pool and garden area made for a relaxing place to sunbathe but to leave the hotel you are only 1 minute from the main street with shops, restaurants, bars. "My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."
