"For a low budget hotel in the Philippines, it was clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, The hotel provides free shuttle service to alona Beach which is 13 minutes away, on most nights, So you can access the restaurants and entertainment. The hotel provides Complementary breakfast 7 to 9 (Filipino style ) which is more than adequate, and Lunch is available between 1130 and 130 and supper between 6 to 8 only(excellent prices). "Second time at this resort...first time was great! This time...No bottled water in room, TV was the size of my phone,Food was terrible at restaurant and no toilet sprinkler. Gardens a beautiful...hats off to the gardener! I stay at many hotels in Philippines this one needs to step it up to be a real 8.2/10 A real disappointment...will not go back."

"This place is absolutely terrific. I've stayed there several times, over a spread of about 12 years and have watched it become better and better. This is where you go if you want the exact opposite of Alona Beach, which is only 4 miles away but a thousand miles from the ambience of the Dumaluan - and that's the way I like it."
