"The hotel has a lot going on in the lobby. Transportation is available to and from the airport for a fee and you must make a reservation. The hotel also offers tours and transportation is included. Mitchell is a transportation driver and has lived in Panama his whole life and is a driver I highly recommend. He knows people all over Panama and we didn’t have to wait long to go on tours. He is funny, speaks both English and Spanish, and has a great personality. You can tip at your discretion but I always gave Mitchell a $20 tip for his tours. The coffee in the hotel room is terrible but there is a Starbucks next door to the hotel. For Canadians, there is a Tim Horton’s a few blocks further down the road for your double-double, or triple-triple. The area is safe and there are neighborhood supermarkets, drug stores, restaurants and a shopping center within walking distance of the hotel. "

"I like the Marriott brand for its reliability, cleanliness and amenities and this hotel did not disappoint. It is a great location if you are in Panama to shop but also the staff was great organising tours. The property is recommended if you want to have value for money and convenience."

"Very nice hotel. Pool was extremely warm/hot. No towels and had to wait a while to get towels replenished. Room was great - did not have a view which was disappointing. Breakfast buffet was pretty good."

"I had the best time at this hotel ! Due to the extremely reasonable price I was a bit worried that the hotel would be bad but it exceeded my expectations. I typically stay at another popular hotel when I’m in Panama but I decided to give principe a try and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and comfortable there was no fridge, microwave or iron but we knew that before booking and those things didn’t matter to us really , the bed was super clean and comfortable and the staff was amazing especially the bellmen ! There is an amazing Caribbean Asian restaurant right next door , we ate there every night ! There is also a cafe right next door where you can grab water and snacks if needed ! Based on the price we paid the hotel exceeded our expectations ! We were two black female travelers and felt super safe ! I’d definitely return! It’s also pretty close to both Albrook Mall and multiplaza ."
