Experience the best of Florida: sugar white sand, dunes, emerald water, and breath-taking sunsets! Our charming condo is located in Building A in the resort and is only minutes away from the beach. The Village complex is nestled between Rosemary and Alys Beach on 30A. Perfect for couples and families, reunions, meetings, retreats, bike rides, golf getaways and destination weddings. There are many unique shops and local restaurants within walking distance.

Primary renter must be at least 18 years of age. Guests may be asked to present their IDs upon arrival or anytime during their stay. Do not rent this unit for another party. The primary renter must be staying in the unit.

Location, relaxation, and good times sum up this fabulous community, located in the heart of Florida’s scenic highway 30A corridor in Seacrest Beach. Snuggled between Rosemary Beach and Aly's Beach, within steps of local eateries, as well as the pristine beaches of the Emerald Coast, this property is sure to provide you with that re-energizing vacation you’ve been waiting for!

Nestled between glamorous Alys Beach (a few blocks west) and The Village of Rosemary Beach (a block east), the Villages of South Walton at Seacrest Beach offer the very best of all. Walk to the quaint shops located nearby, the wine and craft bars that dot the area, or just head to the beach, and get your toes into the powdered-sugar white sands and azure colored water of the best beaches on the Emerald Coast!

30A is a scenic stretch of highway down Florida’s beautiful gulf coast between Destin and Panama City Beach. The highway connects the coastal villages of South Walton through the undisturbed beauty of rare dune lakes, sugar white sand, and emerald-blue waters indigenous to the area. Each village has its own unique characteristics that paint a fairy tale like scene against some of the country’s most beautiful beaches. Come live the 30A life and experience the beach the way it was meant to be, where Southern Charm meets Bohemian lifestyle and unforgettable vacation memories are created.

The Village resort area with two pools, hot tub, fountain and grilling/dining sections located by Building H is for the exclusive use of guests and owners residing at The Village. Wristbands must be worn by guests over the age of 12 to gain access to this area.

The Villages of South Walton offers guests conveniently located community pools (one seasonally heated). The pool area opens at 9am and closes at 10pm; the occupancy for the hot tub is 11. As there are no lifeguards at the pool, children must be monitored by an adult. Children under the age of 5 must wear swim diapers when at the pool. Please do not make exceptions, as accidents introducing fecal matter into the pool require a special disinfection process, which will result in the pool shutting down for up to 24 hours.

Amenity Wristbands: In the condo’s kitchen(ette), you will find "The Village" wristbands for your use. The following areas require wristbands be worn by all guests (13 years of age and older): the private beach access through Sunset Beach, The Village tram, and the new resort pool at The Village across from Building G. Prior to departure please return all wristbands to their proper place (guests will be charged a fee of $30 for each missing wristband).

Beach Tram Info: A complimentary beach tram is available to all guests of The Village of South Walton from March 1st– October 31st from 9am to 5:30pm CST (with no Tram service from noon-1; in addition, the Tram does not run in inclement weather). Guests must call to schedule Tram pickup, otherwise no tram service will be provided. Tram departs from The Village pool area near Building H. All guests 13 years of age and older must wear wristbands to access the Tram. No wagons, no glass, no canopies, or pets allowed on the Tram.

Beach Access Info: Private beach access for guests residing at The Village is through the Sunset Beach community. This private access point is monitored; guests older than the age of 12 will be required to wear a wristband to gain entry.

Walking Directions (5 to 10-minute walk): From Peddler's Pavilion (shopping area in front of The Village) turn right onto 30A. You'll pass High Pointe Resort House on your left. The beach access is shortly thereafter on the left (north) side of 30A (directly across from the Seacrest Beach entrance). You will see the prominent lifeguard chair, which is the entrance to Seacrest. At that chair, take a left and locate the guard house. Show your wristbands to the guard and you will be permitted to walk straight to the beach. If there is no guard upon your arrival, walk down the middle path, in between the gates, to gain access to the beach.

Wheeled coolers, wagons, golf carts, bikes, skateboards and roller blades are NOT allowed through this beach access. Some large items may be permitted; however, per noise restrictions, they must be hand-carried down the pedestrian pathway leading to the shore through Sunset Beach. Strollers are permitted through the beach access as long as they are used to transport children and not beach gear. Beach tents are not permitted on any private beach access along 30A.

Should you desire to rent beach chair service (chairs and umbrellas), La Dolce Vida provides such amenities. To rent this gear, please locate the attendant at the base of the stairs for beach access. We recommend using the website to rent chairs and umbrellas in advance, especially during the summer months.

Closest Public Beach Access: Should you desire public beach access where lifeguards are on duty (available during the high season only, from 9am - 5pm CST), head to the beach access point at Inlet Beach. Turn right at the light at the intersection of 30A and Highway 98. In just less than ½ a mile, turn right onto Orange Street (you will see the sign for "public beach access"). At the stop sign, the road will T; parking is available to the right or left. This beach access is fully equipped with restrooms and an outdoor shower area. Wheeled coolers, wagons and beach tents are permitted at the public beach access. Bike racks are available near the public beach access as well.

Bike Rentals near your resort: The bike rentals are in front of the Village Complex. The best places to ride are through the Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach neighborhoods. Rosemary Beach is about 100 yards left of the Village Complex (where you are booked) and Alys Beach is about 200 yards to the right of the complex.

Fitness Gym near your resort: Paradise Fitness Gym in Carillon Beach is the closest fitness center. It's about 10 minutes from the condo by car. The club offers monthly, weekly, or daily rates.

Grocery fix: Need something quick? Just head to Seacrest Sundries at the front of The Village. The closest grocery stores are Publix or Winn Dixie, both are 7 minutes away (by car). Turn left on County Road 30A. At the traffic light, turn right onto Hwy 98. Go 2.5 miles, at the traffic light turn left for Publix and right for Winn Dixie.

About the Vacation Rental Unit:

This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental features:
Large King Bed Master suite with a private master bathroom attached that has a custom double vanity and a large walk-in shower. The 2nd bedroom hosts a queen-size bed. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds.
Maximum Guest Occupancy: 6 Guests (Please note that children under the age of two years still count toward the maximum guest occupancy.)

The living room has a large flat screen TV, a sleeper sofa and a private balcony with amazing views of this community’s two pools! The kitchen is spacious and provides all your needs. The cabinets are painted a soft and fresh white, the countertops are granite, all stainless appliances and tile backsplash makes you feel like you’re at home!

Parking:

In regards to parking at the Village of South Walton, there are no parking passes needed at this property. Guests may park anywhere in the parking lot that is nearby the building where your vacation rental is located. While there are over 200 public parking spaces, they are first-come, first-served.

The best way to reach the vacation rental from Destin and Panama City Beach is Via Hwy 98. From Hwy 98, take County Road 30A (RIGHT, if you're coming from Destin; LEFT, if you're coming from Panama City Beach). Travel on County Road 30A for just over a ½-mile. Look for shops on the right (Seacrest Sundries, Premier Property Group). Then turn right onto The Village Lane. This area is called "Peddler's Pavilion." Follow this road around till you see these shops: The Lens Bar, Pizza By The Sea, The Sweet Peddler. Turn right (when doing so, you should see La Cocina Mexican Grill and Bar on your left).

At the stop sign, Building D is on your right and Building C is on your left; turn left. Building A is the last building on the left. You can park anywhere in the parking lot.

We arrived in the dark. There was no signage to direct us to the unit, which is housed in a shopping area. When we finally got into the unit, it was apparent that the AC was not working. It must have been 85+. I took quite a lot of text messages to get the property manager to respond. We had to spend a very hot uncomfortable night and next day in the unit. The repairman did not arrive until after 2pm. There were not ceiling or floor fans in the unit. We opened the patio doors, but due to the humidity, the floor became a skating rink. Very dangerous for two 70 year olds. Over all very disappointing stay. The manager was not at all helpful or understanding about any sort of refund. Needless to say, not a good reflection on VRBO either.

Nice place with convenient restaurants and shopping. Two nice pools for all ages. Only downside would be beach access dedicated to the condo which was very limited and required walking a distance or taking a shuttle. Once you get there access requires walking down several flights of stairs which with children can be an issue. Once arriving the area sectioned off with cones and was full. The surrounding beach was closed off as private. We decided to leave after a few minutes on the beach due to the over crowded nature of the area. Thankfully there was the pool to go to. We could of drove to a public beach, but with children we decided not to. Nice place, but if you are looking for easy beach access I would look else where. I wish the listing description on the beach was more detailed and had provided pictures of the beach set up and access.

Beautiful property in the perfect location
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s recently renovated and has all new furnishings and accessories being at the front of the community. It’s very easy to get to the beach and to the entertainment & dining downstairs. It doesn’t have any extra like beach towels or other items so make sure you bring those things. I highly recommend this location. It is spotless and perfectly appointed. We will definitely be coming back again.
