Beautiful condo with great views!
This condo was prefect for our stay! I was amazed at how well stocked it was-extra trash bags, extra dish detergent, etc. I usually take extras of things like that because most places only supply you with one trash bag, and one dish detergent tab, etc, but this condo had everything we needed for our stay, and we loved it! I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful view from the 22nd floor! Very clean with comfy beds. Only issue was remote batteries were coming out due to missing cover. There was no detergent for the washing machine. This did not keep us from enjoying the beautiful condo. Oh and the two recliners were great!

3rd summer at the same condo. Always love it. The view is amazing from the 22nd floor. The balcony is huge, it’s just a great place to stay. Every year I complain about no recliner. Turns out they have had two the entire time and we didn’t know it. We found out by accident that the two chairs are recliners.

BE WARNED-DO NOT BOOK
This place was dirty the floors made your feet black. There was a pill found under my bed in the master room. The pull out couch was broken. There was a security guard on property who yelled at my disabled son with sensory issues because he was in the pool without a band she yelled and made him get out. He could not wear a band due to sensory issues and the guard made him feel very uncomfortable. After I left the homeowner accused me of breaking and stealing things in order to make an insurance claim for extra money. I have rented this place before and I'm a world traveler I take care of all the places I stay. I'm a dentist and don't need to steal from anyone. I did a walk through of the condo before leaving nothing was broken at all and we cleaned it up for them. I stayed here two years ago had a great experience. This time was horrible and we will not be back.

2007 Emerald Isle - Oct stay
We enjoyed our stay and the view from our balcony was spectacular! The weather was perfect for a wedding, which was part of the reason for the visit. I do, however, have a couple of issues I would like to address. First, if you have people coming to stay for extended periods of time, it would be nice if dressers were provided for clothes. Bedside tables and one drawer in the tv cabinet isn’t enough room for 2 people. Second, the furniture fell way short of comfortable and is extremely outdated. And lastly, a 12 cup coffee maker would be nice. Overall, our stay was nice and we will be back but we will look at other condos in this complex and will call the office directly for referrals.

Uncomfortable and Outdated
Overall, the condo is extremely uncomfortable. All of the furniture, as well as the beds, are so old that there is no cushion or padding left. Getting comfortable in any room is impossible. The master bed was a full size…which turned into my husband and I sleeping in separate rooms because there was not enough room for us to sleep comfortably. The decor/furniture does not make it feel like you are on the beach but more like you’re in an episode of Frasier. The only plus side was the view was nice. Other than that, there was no relaxation in our room.

1st time at this unit @Emerald Isle
Normally we rented from the same place for several years and he sold and new owner not renting at this time. Vacasa had this unit available and from all other units we were ALWAYS able to check in if maid service was done. Not here, called twice and they refused early check in. Our flight had landed at 11:00 am. Check in was 4 pm. There were things left in the fridge opened like jelly, chicken salad and pancake syrup. Condo was BEAUTIFUL but could've been cleaned better. Had all necessities needed since spouses deep sea fished and we used the grill. Both our parties noticed bedrooms got hot at night, but beds were comfortable. Great view from 22nd floor.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle in condo 2207 and would stay again. LOVED the view from the 22nd-floor balcony! Beautiful sunsets! The balcony was HUGE! LOVED being right on the beach. The condo was as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked (plenty of plates, silverware, pots & pans, glasses, coffee mugs, mixing bowls...) except I couldn't find oven mitts. Would have been nice to have a couple of kitchen hand towels (they only provided one). Cleanliness - would the place about a 7.5 or 8 out of 10 due to minor things. Our child found a couple pieces of candy underneath the furniture when her toys went under them. Some sand was at the doorway of the storage closet and dust bunnies lingering under the beds. Sheets on beds and towels were clean. The 2 pools were on the small side. It was nice that one of the pools was partially inside so we got a break from the sun. We liked that the access to the beach was a ramp so we were able to wheel our beach wagon easily on and off the beach. The beach was GREAT. Water was crystal clear and beautiful.

The place was outstanding! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Staff/security was friendly and kept the place safe and clean. Highly recommended taking binoculars and seeing that sea life doing what they do best. We were able to see tons of dolphins, sting rays, sea turtles and schools of fish.

So nice I booked it twice!
I stayed here with some girlfriends last summer and had such a great time I had to book it myself for a trip this season. Love how the apartment feels so homey- it’s nice to get away from the beach and feel cozy. The building has great & friendly staff and nice amenities.

Beautiful condo. It was clean and on the quiet end of the beach. We came at the perfect time of year, when summer is winding down. The 22nd floor was spectacular. Would definitely recommend. Even had our own parking spot on 3rd floor parking garage. The chairs are recliner. Only recommendation, please add a Keurig.
