Step from your deck to the sugar white sands and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico! The beach is your backyard at Klaus House #2. Just steps off the back Deck to the Gulf of Mexico. A short drive to Pier Park, 30A, Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Watercolor. This beach front town home is located in one of the most desirable locations within all of Panama City Beach; just 12 miles from the Panama City airport (ECP, serviced by Delta and Southwest Airlines), on Front Beach Road, 1 mile from the popular Pier Park outdoor mall with stores, restaurants, movie and IMAX cinema and night life! Just across the street are dining options at the Boar's Head, frozen custard shop, Pizza Hut, Sunsations beach store. Located within easy walking distance are the Winn Dixie grocery store, CVS Pharmacy, and even a British pasty eatery Enjoy golf courses, St. Andrews State Park. and amusement attractions in the area.

Klaus House 2 is a unique, custom rehabbed, Gulf front, 2 story town home.

When you enter this 2 bedroom, 3 bath town home, you will feel like you have entered an upscale modern urban apartment. But that feeling quickly changes when you see the incredible view of the beach through the wall to ceiling glass doors leading to an outdoor space that puts this gulf front town home over the top. There is a full bath downstairs that features a sink, toilet, and a multi jet body spray shower. The 10ft Sile stone custom kitchen island is the first thing you will notice though. The custom kitchen island features 6 bar stools, large deep zero degree Italian stainless steel sink, smooth large top cooking surface, all high-end appliances; triple rack oven, dishwasher and range hood. To the right of the island is a large Samsung French door refrigerator and microwave. This island layout is a chef's dream, but also serves as a great place to mix up beverages to enjoy on the gulf front deck outside.

The living room features a large screen TV, fireplace, custom recessed lighting, seating for everyone, and high-end full body porcelain Italian tile. One of the most impressive features of the living room is the full glass panel wall that leads to the incredible beach front outdoor space. The deck has a table for dining al fresco and ample seating for lounging - your crew will love the beach front fire pit!

Take the stairs to the upper level and you will find 2 bedrooms and 3 built in full twin size bunks. Both of the bedrooms feature 18" memory foam Queen sized beds and upgraded showers with rain shower head and full body spray jets. Both bedrooms feature a flat panel TV, desk, updated furnishings, and a view of Beach/ Front Beach Road. The Gulf Front Queen master features a master bath with a double sink vanity, full body shower, and access to a large Gulf Front balcony complete with lounge chairs, and incredible views of the gulf and sunset. There are also fold out sofa beds that make this incredible town home sleep 9, if needed.

Great stay but they have a lot of things that need fixed.
Let me start by saying we had a great time. We noticed a lot of little things wrong with the place. As soon as we got there we went out the back door and the handle came off in our hand. I then looked at more recent reviews and saw this had happen to someone else but instead of them fixing it, they put up a sign on how to close the door. Regardless, the lock does not work at all.i did call the management company and they said they could send someone out, I just chose for them to do it after we left. Hopefully that gets done. The fire pit that they show in photos is completely rusted and broken and unusable. That was very disappointing. As soon as we booked they sent a message asking us not to use the jets in the master bath, however when we got to the place there was a sign on the spare bedrooms shower, not to use those jets. The front door had to lifted some to shut the door so it can’t just be pushed open. The place needs a deep clean. Dust on walls, dirty windows, thick dust on the filter upstairs above the bunk beds. I wouldn’t let my kids sleep on the top bunk because of this. They need a new mattress protector in the master. Sheet came down while we were sleeping and my husband woke up with white stuff all over him because it’s peeling. Grill doesn’t work. The back windows/doors really need curtains for privacy and the window upstairs needs blinds or something because someone standing on the street can see in right at the bunk beds. We sadly wouldn't stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious oceanfront property with your own private path to walk down to the beach from the deck. The only issue we experienced was in the bathrooms, the walk-in showers had mildew on them. My husband owns his own cleaning and restoration company so it was a quick and easy fix. We just used some Clorox Mold/Mildew Spray from a local store and it didn't even take 5 minutes to clean. These townhomes have a spacious and partially covered desk on the main level and a pretty nice sized space for the upstairs deck as well. Because these are attached units, if there are guests occupying the units right next to you, then they are very close and you have to be mindful of the neighbors if you are playing music and such. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. Very nicely decorated and a beautiful modern design. Just a few things you may need to bring along with you: Beach towels/chairs, extra toilet paper/paper towels if you're staying longer than a few days, laundry detergent, salt/pepper, seasoning and other cooking items like cooking oil

Beautiful property, the shower in the second bathroom wouldn’t change temps, the stairs definitely need to be wider or you will fall down them, my 17 year old daughter did but the property is beautiful, the house had enough room for all of us and I loved the ease of walking out onto the beach. It was a fantastic trip and would definitely stay again!

Had some things break or were broken when we checked in, but maintenence was easy to contact and fixed everything quickly. The view was amazing from both floors. Could have been stocked with more toilet paper, dish soap, and paper towels for a family staying a week.

We only had 9 towels for 6 people and 3 rolls toliet paper and n. Doing laundry not what I planned. The management addressed cleaning and sheets promptly. The location and unit overal was great!

Great Location
The location is great. The house floorplan worked well for our family. 3 bathrooms was nice. Outdoor patio is nice with part covered and part open. Patio furniture was not real comfortable but adequate. The kitchen is nice, but I could not have cooked much for family of 6 with the small pots and pans

Stair way is terrible inside!
The stair way is terrible! Steps aren't even big enough for your whole foot to be on. One the day of check-in we got unpacked and settled in. At 9pm my mother in-law and daughter went upstairs to get ready for bed. On the way back down stairs my 67yo mother in-law fell down the steps and broke her leg. Had to call EMS. She was taken to Ascension Sacred Heart in Panama city for surgery the next morning. Luckily she didn't go through the window! The house itself was clean and beautiful beach views. Neighbors were nice! But I would consider changing the tile on the stairs!

Let me start by saying I would rent this location again. The location is great. My past VRBO experience is with 30+ homes in the Midwest and West. This is obviously a vacation rental. If you go you need to expect needing sponges, washing clothes, spices, decent pots and pans. We had cockroaches every day. Just 1 or 2. The furniture, as others have mentioned, is not very comfortable. Attention to detail like light bulbs out, dishwasher rack missing rollers, sinks missing stoppers, shower temps off, clothes dryer not working (but fixed quickly) all suggest a lackadaisical approach to renter comfort. But the location trumps all. We loved staying here but it could be better.

Older unit but had been remodeled. Comfortable and really enjoyed not having to fight to get an elevator. Townhouse with just steps to the beach. Loved the firepit area and the incredible sunsets.

Great place to stay
I booked Klaus 1&2 for my family and they really enjoyed it. The property is in a great place, close to everything you need. It’s right on the beach and it’s private so you don’t have to worry about the crowds. Most of all it was a great feeling knowing that you didn’t have to wait in the long elevator lines, you’re in a great spot that’s clean and comfortable for your family.

Great Property Needs Attention on Cleanliness & Upkeep
We loved the location and the high-end appliances and amazing, modern showers and finishes. We expected normal “wear and tear” but the dirtiness upon arrival was disappointing. I am not talking about the dirt on the walls, noticeable plaster patch jobs and sticky handrails (needs an entire paint job) but the amount of sand left on the floors and the thick dust everywhere even on the wall artwork. We swept the floors and collected more sand that first night then we did sweeping every day. It needs a thorough cleaning—including inside the kitchen drawers. The trash cans were nasty. I don’t believe trash bags were listed as an amenity but the cans need to be cleaned. I am aware it’s difficult to deep clean during the busy season, but this one is WAY past due. We used one sofa bed and the extra bedding was also discouraging. There were no top sheets and the fitted sheets and bedding were thrown into the closet that we questioned if they were even clean. Staying for a week, of course we cooked; but listing the kitchen as a “chef’s dream” I am not so sure. The appliances are top notch brands and worked, but they do need to be kept in good condition. As mentioned in a March ’21 review, the dishwasher is still not fixed into the frame which makes it difficult to use and the freezer handle is very wobbly like it may fall off soon. Also, the kitchen seemed to be missing items and accessories—for example no 9x13 pan or basic stock pot and the scarce cooking utensils were burnt or the handles kept coming off. More than one dish towel and cloth would have been helpful & a drying mat. The old looking grill was also in need of attention; the drippings underneath and the rusty grilling utensils show their wear. As mentioned in a Feb. ’21 review, there is not a deadbolt on the front door even though a deadbolt is listed as a safety feature. Plus, a curtain is needed downstairs for privacy and an inside rug by the patio door would have been helpful too. Yes, I agree with other reviewers that the sofa needs to be replaced; it had a lot of embedded sand. Also, the solar lights on the wooden railings outside are not working. Inside, the island bar stools NEED some TLC. The backs are made of metal, and they have become rusty. We stopped sitting in them because we noticed the rust stains left behind on our clothing. Overall, an awesome property we can see visiting again if there is a better focus on cleanliness, upkeep and inventory.
