"Our room was absolutely perfect! There was a sitting area and a mini kitchen in addition to our bedroom area. There was fresh bread, milk, juice, coffee/tea, fresh fruit - you name it they included it in our kitchen. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful spot to spend the night. If we come back to the UK we'll spend a week here!"

"The hotel is very tastefully decorated and modern the staff very helpful and friendly the food excellent and cost was very reasonable. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was right at the front off the hotel it did have modern double glazed windows but they were useless the traffic outside never stopped until after midnight and restarted around 4 am.I am quite a heavy sleeper but this had to be the worst night’s sleep I’ve experienced at a hotel, the bed looked lovely but we couldn’t turn over...

Whatever your expectations are they will surely be met and exceeded. If you are looking for a quiet oasis to relax and retreat from the hustle of daily life, this is it. The gardens are work in progress and offer the potential to make this a much saught after retreat location. Would we come back. Without a doubt! "

"My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of December in the Warren room and it was so comfortable! Ziz was the perfect host, what a lovely place the Sheriff Lodge is, close to town and 5 mins from a lovely nearby pub for an evening meal. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice, the homemade granola topped with fruit was the best! Overall a wonderful place to stay and we will return in the summer. "There was a power outage overnight the first night we stayed here. Upon realizing that in the morning, because there was no hot water, I tried to contact the manager. It took over an hour for her to respond and all she could tell me was that she couldn't get ahold of her handyman. After 2 hours of waiting with no update from the handyman, we left. I asked for a refund but was refused and I was accused of causing the power outage because I must have plugged in a North American device. This...
