The apartment is low roof old one. While interior is done well, the neighbor on the top would walk late in the causing lot of jerky wood noise from the roof. There are also blinds missing from the curtain in the hall. Putting the room in visibility of everyone entering and leaving the complex.
It was not a quiet and peaceful stay overall, but proximity to eating places was useful.
Nice apartment. Think may be a new listing. Need to get your own stock of tea, coffee, sugar, ice. Very close, short walk to a Starbucks and small market. Did have salt and pepper. No ice trays. But, all the kitchen supplies one would need to prepare any sort of dish. Better cooking supplies than most. Easy parking. Would go back.
The property itself is great. It had all that we needed. The only 2 problems for us were:
1. You can hear the person in the apartment above walking into late hours at night. It was very difficult to get a good night's sleep. Sounded like an elephant stomping above us. I recommend you invest in a white noise machine and use it at night.
2. It was not super close to Stanford. We were not familiar with the area and we were hoping to be able to walk to the university. However, there is a bus stop very close to the house and you can take that to school, just need to plan the timing. Also, Uber and Lyft costs about $10 on average to get to school. The pricing depends if there is another big event happening at the time.
Condo is in nice neighborhood, Close to Cal Ave and campus. Was clean. I can't give it a five, probably a little higher than a 4. The condo was fine but the walls are quite thin and you can hear everything upstairs and next door. The kitchen and bathroom have been redone and look great. Kitchen is well supplied. But on the living room side, it's like a different place. A couple of the slats in the shade need to be fixed. There is an old Christmas decoration in the corner. The picture over the couch has part of the frame falling and there is a price tag on it. Convenient though.
