"Little slice of paradise. Views are immaculate and the vibes are relaxed. Far enough from the touristy areas to feel authentic but close enough to the sights to reasonably do it all. Breakfast service was divine and a nice way to start the day off. Lack of AC not an issue at all, even when the temperature looks high because the breeze and shade make for ideal temperatures. We loved our stay and would recommend to any couple looking for a heightened experience in Arenal. "

"Beautiful property- stayed 3 nights at a dome tent with my 7 year old- it was very modern and well equipped. Staff are great and we enjoyed the zip lining and horseback rides while at the ranch. All were extremely convenient to book during our stay- available on an hours notice. Food was excellent and traditional and the ladies in the kitchen working at the ranch were amazing. If you are looking to do a horse back ride and zip line in Costa Rica I would highly recommend staying night or so and doing the activities while enjoying the property. It’s a better day than booking a tour from the coast if you have a car IMO, simply because you have more time to enjoy nature and generally more private zip lining and horseback riding so you could accomplish more. Our stay was mid March 2025. Activity prices were reasonable as was the stay. "

"Hacienda is a great spot. Beautiful grounds, great restaurant, and great service. It’s showing its age a bit and could use a little updating and some maintenance. Our room was very nice and comfortable but the AC did not cool the room well. It did not detract from the overall stay though."

"We have stayed ar over 20 rental properties. And this one was by far the best! The house and grounds are beautiful. Patrick is an amazing host! We ended up with a flat tire and he arranged to have it taken into town to be repaired.The daily breakfast provided were also amazing and different every day!I can’t recommend this property enough!"

"This is a gem of a resort. Beautiful property well maintained, excellent food and service, and alot to do including pickleball, nature walks, pool tables, hot tub and pool. Nice accommodations for a family of 4 (2 teenagers) where they each hot their own double bed. King size bed as well!! Highly recommend! Owner was super friendly and gave us a history of the area. "
