"Beautiful, tastefully furnished rooms. Lots of modern artwork and design furniture across the hotel. Very nice staff. Located on a hill, quite remote, surrounded by nature. Convenient EV charging on site. Pool, historic villa, free rental bikes, walks. The hotel’s restaurant/osteria offers nice dishes with locally grown vegetables, homemade breakfast, yet the service needs improvement. Pool a bit small and food served outside of dinner/lunch hours could be improved. Overall a very nice stay."

"Our family stayed here for 1 week. The location is beautiful. The host and manager were helpful. It is fairly remote and driving to the property was a little more than I expected. That being said the drive was well worth it. My only complaints were the lack of an electric coffee pot ( but this is an America thing) and the I didn’t love the main shower. I absolutely believe the views and service made up for those things. We would stay here again."

"The apartment itself is beautiful with plenty of space for our family of 7. We were very disappointed with the lack of thought in the details. For example, there was NO hand soap, no dish soap, no sponge, and not even a garbage bag for trash. We were incredibly upset that after our 7 hour drive we had to go to the store for very basic amenities. And it wasn't as if the apartment was cheap. Rather we had payed quite a bit for the space so it would have been nice to have some basics upon arrival....

"First of all, this hotel is VERY hard to find. It does not have a proper address to put into a navi, and the address you can put in leaves you 10 km away. The owner has limited English so she was not much help with directions. Once you find it, however, the scenery is beautiful. As far as the room goes, it was very quaint but the furnishings are minimal and old. The water temperature did not seem to be controllable, you got whatever was in the tank whether it be scalding hot or cold. Also, the...

"We stayed in the room named Torre di Pisa and it has the most amazing view of the tower. It is literally 25 steps away. I would say this view ranks up there as one of the best in the world. Incredible! "

It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."
