Everyone is very nice and heplfull in every way you need. We stayed here for two nights and used it as a base to visit Etna, Siracuza and of course also Gryfindor pub, which is just 20 minutes ahead. "We picked this agritourismo hotel for its proximity to Catania and the airport - as well as its value and good reviews. It is in the middle of nowhere but very easy to find off the A19 because it is well signposted all the way. It is 20 minutes from the airport IF there is no traffic, but it took us 45 minutes because the approach to the airport is terribly confusing and there were long lines of cars. "This agriturismo sits on beautiful grounds with a large lovely pool surrounded by gorgeous landscaping. The people who run it were extremely accommodating, even putting a dinner together for us after they had closed the kitchen since we arrived so late. "Posto da evitare. Innanzitutto segnalo che NON è un agriturismo ma un casermone decadente alla periferia di Paternò. Nonostante le foto siano vere, di presenza è tutta un'altra cosa! Eravamo di passaggio e abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte per fortuna! La nostra stanza comunicava attraverso una porta da interni chiusa a chiave, con un'altra camera da cui si sentiva ogni singola parola e rumore. Dal bagno puzza di scarichi. I letti dei bambini non letti singoli, ma ricavati da divano...

"There's not a lot of hotels in Caltagirone to choose from. Even so, this one is worth a night or two if you are going to the town itself or even Villa Romana. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bathrooms seem well maintained. Best reason to go though is the outstanding dinner and wine from the owners vineyard. Overall a nice experience."
