Nice fishing house
Nice fishing spot. The host was next door and introduced themselves to us and walked us through the night fishing lights. Very helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

This is a simple property. 1970s house on stilts. Clean, extra linens, private pier. Highly recommend for a nice quiet weekend on the coast.

A pier I'd like to own.
I rented this place for the pier, which I thought met all of my qualifications for a perfect fishing pier out into a bay. And it did! Over about a 48 hour period I caught between 30 and 40 speckled trout (about 1/3 on lures under lights, and the rest on live shrimp one afternoon). Unfortunately, they probably averaged about 13 inches, so they all went back in the water. Also maybe a dozen gafftops, about half of them legal. Lotsa fun.

Family Getaway
The house is older, but the view, pier, and fishing all makes up for it. The kids had an amazing time catching crabs off the pier. It was a fast and easy trip to town to get more crab bait :) very quiet and peaceful area. We just left today and already booked a week for next month.

Pleasant stay - plentiful fishing
Thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay, and the host was very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. The water on the bay in the back yard was always calm and beautiful, and fishing off of the pier was always eventful.

Great Fishing!
Really enjoyed the fishing off the pier and the cold AC. Caught several different species of fish including a small black tip shark. The refrigerator was somewhat operational only kept things somewhat cool and the freezer portion did not work at all.

Nice getaway
The place was rather clean. A few bugs found here and there. The freezer didn’t work very well and smelled but… it’s a fishin cabin. Everything else was great amazing pier, caught tons of gaff top and 4 huge alligator gar. Great time with the family. Quiet neighborhood, friendly definitely will stay again

Clean and comfortable
Had a great time with my family. The house was clean and comfortable. Fishing was good, we caught speckled trout and sand trout from the pier. It was so quiet in the neighborhood. Everyone had fun and relaxed.

Beautiful Place with awesome fishing at your doorstep
We had a great time and caught some monster Red Fish out in the bay just steps from the home. The private lighted pier with fresh water fish cleaning station has cleats to tie your boat to, we left ours tied up overnight without issue. Talk about super handy just wake up step on the boat and your off! Thanks Cathy for the exceptional communication regarding the boat ramp access, the ramp owner said he could get you a new card, and I'm sure you will hear about our little mishap up by his gate (he laughed it off and said that boy will be talking about this moment for years) LOL Thank You, Cody Samford

Palacios stay
This property is ok, good for a group of guys getting away to fish but not for a family. Most of the electrical outlets did not work, the vents were dirty, the kitchen and bath cabinet doors did not close, a recliner was broken, some cabinets were falling apart, although I used the BBQ grill it was in poor condition. My check in email said 3:30, but the cleaners were there till 4pm. The fishing dock was nice. Again great for guys to get away but not a family, overall I'd rate this property at 3 stars because of the fishing pier.

Landowners where friendly helpful and helped with any issue that arose. Couldnt of asked for a better get a way. The house is older but still very nice we staid in. And is a great get away house for a weeeknd or a week!
