"Tired, unloved and a little dilapidated. The first room given had a broken toilet, the seconds A/C didn't work. We were constantly asked for proof of booking, yet they still tried to charge us at the end. They wouldn't boil some water for us, even though we could clearly see a kettle behind reception. Nasty place, nasty staff and local tuk-tuks and taxis consider it to be in the middle of nowhere (It's 6 km from town centre) And rip you off accordingly. Do not book this hole!"

"Wonderful old colonial French house with quirky elevator and amazing wall hanging textiles in the rooms. Very interesting photos on the walls throughout. Super friendly and helpful staff. Easy tuc/tuc to the market for a lively and entertaining ride from the wet market to Champasak."
