"Our stay of 8 nights was amazing. One of the best hotels we have been in South East Asia. The rooms are well furnished and confortable. The staff is kind and pro active. Breakfasts are very good and the restaurant has a superb choice of excellent dishes - congratulations to the French chef Jérémie Muller for his good work. We also enjoyed very much the nice pool and spa. We shall return for sure. "

"The concierge and staff were friendly. They helped us book a taxi service to get to places. We could easily rent bikes to go to the night market or other areas in town. Would recommend this place! Rooms were nice and clean. One issue though, our shower drain took long to drain so there is a tendency to flood. I hope this is only an issue for our room. (A03) Breakfast selection was great too!"

"My friend and I needed a place to stay for two days until our flight. This guesthouse was very comfortable with two twin beds, en suite, dresser, tv, fridge and ac to use as required. Price was very reasonable. Yard and hotel very picturesque , beautiful woodwork throughout. And very friendly and helpful people. I loved it and would come back . "

"Great 2 night stay. However 1st night we were separated from the rest of the family. They have two building. And it’s down the block from the main. The second building is above the kitchen / restaurant and about 4am you can smell the food preparation. "

"Very disappointed - just a mattress on the floor of a dirty room, does not match the photos. We booked a private double/twin room but it didn't look like the photos. The staff were friendly and helpful but the rooms were dirty and there wasn't a bed but just a mattress on the floor... (See our photo on Google maps). This wasn't even cheap as it was more expensive than beautiful 3 star accommodation on the same road. We left without staying. Only positive was that the lady looks after the poor/orphaned children in the town which is very kind of her. We hope the money we spent goes towards looking after them and not into their own pocket. We also hope that she looks after the children in need as she I initially said and doesn't make them work in the market as she later implied."
