"This was our second holiday this year at the mill and we will keep returning. Everything you need for a holiday has been thought of, beautiful mill and extensive gardens. Can highly recommend using the patio at the side of the property for meals, very relaxing with views across the river/land. You have access to use herbs/tomatoes etc from the garden which is such a lovely idea. Easy drive to food shops and literary a short walk to Château de Dampierre-sur-Boutonne which is definitely worth a visit. There is also a small shop that sells local crafts/art/honey which is such a fabulous idea to support the local people. The owner Yohann as always was very welcoming, excellent communication prior and during the stay if you require his assistance. He ensures your time at the mill is as enjoyable as possible. You won’t regret booking this gem of a property. "

"The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "

"We booked the farmhouse for 5 nights for a holiday with friends and we didnt want to leave! The farmhouse is perfect for a group of 8 people, beautifully decorated, plenty of space and catered for all. Children can play freely and safely in the play area, games barn and in the fields, whilst the adults can relax. The bbq and outside area is so relaxing and perfect for all your meals. The swimming pool is wonderful, recently renovated, and cleaned every evening. It's a short car ride to the local boulangerie to get your morning croissants and bread and you have some lovely towns to visit nearby too. Louis, Lauren and their children are the perfect hosts - helpful, friendly and always ready to cater for your needs. Thank you for all your hospitality and beautiful home guys! "

"From the initial communication with the owner to our departure after two weeks of relaxation everything was ideal. "We enjoyed a lovely week at the Gite. The house was a very comfortable , cool, converted barn with a well equipped kitchen / dining room and a nice outside space for eating too. The pool area was lovely - very clean and peaceful. The bathroom is relatively basic with only one (separate) toilet. Lovely comfortable beds and beautiful surrounding countryside. "Everything you need for a wind-down in the country. All you could need is provided in the clean and comfortable gite. Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. Genial hosts with good local knowledge, friendly and discrete. "
