About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

The Ranch House, near Mercy Hot Springs.

The Ranch House is a luxury delight, in a farm atmosphere. The view of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking and you cans see every star in the sky at night. Enjoy cooking in a well equipped kitchen or take a long bath in the claw foot tub while taking in the view of the serene landscape. Don't mind if the goats stop by for a visit while you enjoy drinking coffee or tea on the front porch.

The Ranch House is a beautiful and comfortable escape to the charm and serenity of the country. Just a mile from our working dairy farm which offers a unique opportunity to see where the best milk and dairy products are made. is our working dairy farm, guests will be able to observe cows and goats being milked. This happens twice a day. You will also be able to see our calves being fed twice a day. Feeding of the cows happens at various times during the week and you may just be able to see that too depending on the length of your stay. Baby cows graze there too. The farm house enjoys some of the best sunshine in California, best night sky, mountain views, sunrises and sunsets. Relax, commune with the animals, birdwatch, hike, or whatever.

Other unique places close by include a working horse ranch, an historic hot springs, a vegetable farm, a new solar project, and a saloon style bar. There are hills for hiking and rock hounding. The town of Tres Pinos is 45 minutes away with great restaurants, wineries and services. The Pinnacles National Park is an hour and fifteen minutes away. That is the east side access of Pinnacles. It is an extraordinary place to spend the day!

The natural aspects of this location are HUGE. This is a very diverse geological and biological area, there is world class birding, there are wildlife to observe, the night sky is fantastic and the climate is great. The wildflowers in the Springtime of a good year (like this) are incomparable.

Last piece of the old west
My son and I had a wonderful time staying in this lovely ranch house in the Panoche Valley. I’ve always felt this area was the last piece of the old west, complete with cattle, tumbleweeds, roadrunners, and ravens. When you get away here, you really do get away from it all.. We definitely could have stayed longer. The house was very comfortable and my son liked the loft, though I wouldn’t recommend it for younger children since there isn’t a railing. Best sunsets ever and just a great place to relax.
