"Everything was wonderful! I felt like I was staying with a friend, even though I never got to meet the owner. I would stay here again for sure. Loved it! The beach was a short drive which was fantastic."

No restaurants in Pahala however a nice 7 mile drive to the town of Naalehu takes care of this matter.

It is a quiet, small town in a beautiful spot that exemplifies a different time on Hawaii. That does cut both ways a bit, though, of course, don't come out expecting bright lights and show tunes.
